Angela you should be nominated best garden presenter of the year. With your simplicity, your conciseness and soothing voice, you capture the world. I cannot say enough. You do everything effortlessly and simple. You make my day everyday. When looking at your garden it brings me joy and I am back in the garden of Eden where all was perfect . Thanks friend

So encouraging to watch your garden change monthly. We too live in Mesa, but are new to gardening and last year thought it all hopeless, then we found your videos. This is only our second year and everything is doing much better thanks to your sharing. Yay! As of 6-5-2023 our best growers are Armenian cucumbers, yellow pear tomatoes, Swiss chard, some carrots still going, Pablano & Anaheim peppers, green onions, and Shishito peppers. Tree kale is still trying to bolt, but still quite hardy (will have to give it shade I think). Have great hope for cantaloupe production. Fig tree is going gangbusters. Pomegranite always looks good, but they ripen white and a tasteless--no clue why. Litte fruiting mulberry tree is hanging in there. Overall, we are thrilled to be eating well out of the garden this year. Oh! Our dahlias are still alive and blooming too! We had virtually nothing last year.

I'm in San Antonio Texas and it's been an unusual summer. It's been raining tons of rain. Unusually we have a heat high and 100+ until end of August. Because of this nice weather I'm harvesting lots of tomatoes, cucumbers, yellow squash, kale, swisschard, tomatillios, Jalapeños carrots, onions and lots of fruit trees as well. I love your success your having too.

SEASON UP HERE IN CANADA PRINCE EDWARD ISLAND IS SHORT.
I HAD 180 TOMATO PLANTS IN TWO FEET TALL. I MAKE A LOT OF SALSA. I'M A VEGETARIAN FOR 51 YEARS,
TO MUCH WORK ON MY HANDS BY MYSELF. SO I MISSED THE NEW MOON ON THE 10TH
DID NOT COVER THEM. WE GOT FROST ALL MY TOMS GOT HIT. THEY ARE COMING BACK BUT SLOW. I HAVE ANOTHER 20 IN MY HOUSE. I START EVER THING WITH MY OWN SEEDS. FULL MOON TONIGHT SO THE TOMS WILL GO IN THE NEXT FEW DAYS WITH MY PEPPERS , SQUASH.

HI ANGELA >THANKS FOR THE SUPPORT.
MY ( TIPS ) WATER METHODS ARE .WATER IN THE MORNING AND AT NIGHT.
THIS GIVES THE PLANTS STAMINA THROUGH THE HOT DAY AND A REFRESHMENT BEFORE THEY GO TO BED. LOL DEPENDING ON THE DAY AND HEAT, I MAY WATER IN THE AFTERNOON BUT JUST THE SOIL FOR THE ROOTS. EVEN THOUGH MY 180 TOM PLANTS GOT HIT WITH FROST, THE ROOTS STAY GOOD SO WATERING LIKE I DO WAS ABLE TO REVIVE ALMOST ALL. SAY ABOUT 165. A SET BACK BUT THEY WILL STILL PRODUCE. WE HAD LOTS OF RAIN THE PAST FEW DAYS AND WILL DO A VIDEO OF MY GARDEN FOR YOU. NOT ANYWHERE AS ABUNDANT AS YOURS BUT JUST TO SHARE BECAUSE YOU ARE A SHARER.LOL CHEERS

Beautiful and encouraging because I also live in a hot, dry place.I’m glad to see, your ginger plants look like mine. I have already gathered sunflower seeds for the birds, but there’s still one left in bloom.I already have harvested some eggplants, and tasted sweeter than when you buy them from the store. My tomatoes though are as not as fruitful as yours. My dill plants were infested with powdery mildew. I don’t know what I did wrong. My cilantro had flowered early but the parsley keeps on giving. I have them daily for my cooking . BTW.I love your background music! 😊😍❤️

My broccoli and peppers aren’t growing much (hopefully growing their roots deep) but I expect them to produce later and the cherry tomatoes too! Should I just keep watering etc, because they are still growing, and male flowers develop, or should they get pulled? Same for Bush beans put out almost a quart zipbag amount and then teeny tiny ones, so I removed those tiny ones hoping plants would not give up. They are still growing, just tiny bean pods. Occasionally. :( all advice is extremely appreciated.

If I see aphids on a leaf I'll pull it off. You can also spray them with water. Here's a blogpost about pest control: growinginthegarden.com/organic-pest-control-that-really-works/ I got the zinnias from Renee's Garden seeds. They are a great choice for containers.
