I must agree with the install. Installes it myself this weekend and yes it was a pain in the butt. The schematics were not enough. That saidn it does sound ok, but the DB killer has to be drilled out. The issue you had with the fairing melting, is not something i had. Fits perfect.
I ended up taking out the internal DB Killer and it helped the sound a little, i still have the DB Killer in the end of the pipe though. i'm happy for now, i dont really like crazy loud exhaust so its good. but yes, kind of pain to install for sure.
I will reply since no one did. I am a motorcycle mechanic, and yes it is normal for the oil to look low when on the side stand. You check the oil level while the bike is straight up and down, except for Harley’s which you check while they are on the side stand.

Good job, man, thanks.
Hey man, what year is this model? Looks really nice! 🎉
2015 and thanks!
Curious bout this. Did you ever take the db killer out? Any videos and sound check of it off?
hi, is it normal that the oil indicator looks empty like yours in the video? nice video btw

If you fill it up to the max level while it is on the side stand you will have too much oil and it will start back flowing through your air box
