@@shahreenkhantaan8625Yes, Kazi Nazrul Islam is the national poet of Bangladesh, he is also known as rebellious poet. He was imprisoned by britishers for his Vidrohi (Rebellious) poem
Kazi Nazrul Islam is our national poet. He was also rebel poet, he rebelled against British Empire. A long time in his life he spent in the prisons of British because of his Rebel poem, song, Article, Story and novel. When British escaped from the subcontinent (India, Pakistan and Bangladesh) even in that time he was accused by almost 80 lawsuits by British Empire. he fought his whole life for independence of the subcontinent from British empire and for human rights as well as Against all of discrimination. When he was a school student, he joined british army and fought in 1st World War. He was the one and only poet in world who composed most songs in a single language. Perhaps He is the one poet even, who can make an divine melody in his song by combining between love and pain. He just got 23 years maybe to compose his great creation. he produced a large body of poetry, music, messages, novels, stories, etc. with themes that included equality, justice, anti-imperialism, humanity, rebellion against oppression and religious devotion. Nazrul's activism for political and social justice as well as writing a poem titled as "Bidrohī", meaning "the rebel" in Bengali, earned him the title of "Bidrohī Kôbi" (Rebel Poet). Nazrul also was very fond of faith. He composed a plethora of religious songs for Islam and Hinduism.
Please justify Nazrul,s creation dome approx 100 years ago . Read about him the PhD thesis of Dr Anup Ghosal . He is the best songs and music creator in Indian subcontinent .He is the pride of the world, not only for the Bangladesh .
