Green Day had a concert in Hyde Park. 30ish years after Freddie died. They played random music over the speakers before the band came out and they played this. 65,000 people sang for Freddie. He was long gone but he still played that crowd. AAAYYYYYYOOOOO

Parts of “Bohemian Rhapsody” were being developed by Freddie in the 1960s. The recording of the song began in August 1975 and took about three weeks to complete ... You're going to be "blown away" by Queen at Live Aid ! ... Thanks for this guys ☺

You really should watch the official version of this too, it has a few special effects that they can't reproduce live. Plus you get to see what Freddie looked like in 1975! Freddie was working on three different songs when he had the genius inspiration to combine them into this epic masterpiece. One of those three songs was going to be called "The Cowboy Song", it's the one that involves the gun, the shooting and telling his mama about it. If you enjoyed the first two, you should treat yourself to watching Queen at Live Aid 1985. I guarantee is will be one of the most amazing performances you've ever seen.

Thanks for this! Welcome to QUEEN! OH YES! Montreal 1981!!! And I WAS THERE!!! To say it was jaw-dropping is an understatement. A QUEEN surpasses every concert OF EVERY GREAT BAND I have ever seen. I cannot describe to you the GENIUS and PERFECTION of this band - these 4 guys who - with incredible improvisation - somehow brought this multi-layered MASTERPIECE to the stage. It was MAGIC!
Live Aid, 1985 has been suggested by other commenters. It's 20 minutes...each band at this charity event only had 20 minutes to perform...it needs to be seen in its entirety to get the full flavor...THIS IS IMPORTANT: look for the official version since there are other copies around which cut off an important piece at the end.
Suggestions - earlier work: "White Queen" from live at the Odeon, Hammersmith, 1975 - Later work, "Who Wants to Live Forever" live from Budapest, 1986. I have a ton more, but these 2 will give an idea of how the band evolved over 20+ year career with the same 4 members....so very rare in this era when members of other bands would leave to go elsewhere either because of ego or disagreements. Not so with QUEEN. They stayed together with a common vision and it shows in the iconic music they produced throughout their career. LEGEND!!

Bohemian Rhapsody has been voted the best rock n roll song of all time for many many years. You have to listen to the studio version. The middle section had so many over dubs that you can’t do it live. If you notice the official version has over a billion hits, the most hits on Spotify for a band over 20 years old.! Queen is by far ( my humble opinion) the best band in the world. No one can do as many genres so well as Queen. No other band has all 4 band members written number one hits. The tremendous musicianship of each member is insane. They all have upper level degrees and Brian has a PhD in Astrophysics, he has been newly knighted by King Charles III. There is so much that makes Queen so special it would take me pages and pages to begin to tell you. Thank you for the great reaction, keep them coming.

When i tell young people about this, they are really envy me. Everybody wants to see Queen live with Freddie. Unfortunately not possible anymore. But they are still immense popular world wide. They are the best selling album, CD artists of all time in the Netherlands and in Europe. They are the only music artists who have sold more than 100 million albums and cd's in Europe. More then The Beatles or The Stones. Digital sales and streaming are not included. Also because the track was “Shock - Horror” 7 mins long and not 5 mins dictated by the BBC producers. The DJ of the show insisted they would regret cancelling it and he talked them round and the video arrived in time to broadcast on the show. Saw them live either in the late 70's or esrly 80's. My memory of those days are a little confusing for obvious reasons. Good tines.

Need to react to Morissette singing 1) Bohemian Rhapsody, 2) And I am telling you (Cebu Finale). 3) I wanna know what love is (live myx), 4) Stone Cold (live myx). It will blow you away

I'm sure someone has mentioned, by now, that the "operatic part" in the middle was a recording and not done live. That Montreal concert was so iconic! Can you imagine what he could have accomplished if he wasn't taken from us so early?
