“I can’t help but communicate that I find frustrating is that there are actual crises happening in this country. Couple of weeks ago there was a devastating, devastating derailment in East Palestine, Ohio,” Ocasio-Cortez began, referencing the early February train derailment and subsequent release of toxic chemicals that grabbed the nation’s attention last month.
“And yesterday, I was just lucky enough to wrap up a hearing early and I was going back to my office. It was not scheduled. It wrapped up early and there were people from East Palestine at my door. Because they weren’t getting a response in in their own other levels of government,” she continued, adding:"

She then later proceeded to say we need to use that 3.5 billion on xyz even though there was no Amazon to generate revenue. When she talks about taxes on talk shows, she is off by multiple factors of scale. Oh she doesn't know what a garbage disposal is either....lol Come on, there are many smart people left and right to the aisle, AOC is one of the few who is just so far off in understanding of numbers and scale.

I have much respect and admiration for AOC
When during the Trump administration the 1/5th of wage earners had their incomes rise the fastest of all groups. That was the first time that had happened since the George W Bush administration.
Because both Trump and W. used Kennedy's theory of using lower taxes, less immigration, deregulation, and smaller government to tighten up the labor market. Which raises wages, allows mobility, allows for advancement, and gives people dignity.
Compare that to the Democrat policies of using high taxes, over regulation, open immigration, and big government to put permanent slack into the labor market. Which drives down wages and drives up housing prices at the same time, to the point tens of millions of people don't have any money left over at the end of the month. And it's the low wages at the bottom that allows the excesses at the top, causing the wealth gap.
Raising the bottom 1/5th of wage earners wealth relative to everyone else is something liberals will never be able to do because of their policies.
If AOC cared about poor and working class people, she would be a Kennedy Reagan conservative.

First of all I don't understand why these politicians don't understand what Woke is. I'm a lay person I fully know what woke is. It started decades ago and has a mindset that reminds us to be fair to people regardless of their religion, their race, their sexual orientation and their political points of view. We need to get a solid message out about what work is because it's a good thing not a bad thing. Once again it is a good thing not a bad thing.
