    For those wondering:
Eval after white is "much better" with a "serious advantage for white" at 0:29 : +0.6
Eval after the first analysis at 0:55 : +.1
Eval after second analysis at 1:10 : 0.0
Eval after the "not so bad" position at 2:27 : -2.0
Eval after Kramnik is doing "quite well" at 3:11 : +0.3
Eval after Ding says black is better 4:11 : -1.6
Eval after Ding corrects Kramnik with Nxf2 4:23 : -3.7
Eval after Kramnik's very strong position at 4:36 : 0.0
Eval after "white can only be better" (with many easily drawing moves where black can only press, Ding correctly laughs) 4:58 : 0.0
Eval after an "easy technical win for white" 5:55 : 0.0
Eval after "Nf5 is winning, of course" 6:02 : 0.0
    Eval after b4 7:08 : -2.0
Eval after "white is winning, no doubt" 7:26 : -3.4
Hilarious stuff, if I had all day I'd continue. Nearly all of what Kramnik said was wrong and nearly all of what Ding said was correct.

What I get from this is that Ding is (maybe was, sadly) an absolute legend, great genius of this game but it seems that Kramnik's overenthusiastic evaluations don't affect his results this badly. He went 6.5/14 (while Ding went 7.5/14) in this candidates tournament. One could consider it as a poor result until you consider the fact that it was an extremely strong candidates tournament, with an average rating of 2786. So going -1 against such a field isn't that bad

Another game in which Kramnik is "so winning", "completely winning", "clearly winning", "it would be just stupid not to win (this position)", "so much better", he's "the only one playing for a win", has "a big advantage", while his opponent "has absolutely no chance, not even counterplay", he "had a very simple win", he is "so solid he cannot loose in anyway", "no doubt"... I mean, only a heart attack would prevent him from winning this game! Yet, he still manages not to convert in victory.

Kramnik : I am clearly better , black has no chance here , white is just winning , already very happy with such a strong position , black has no play at all , white is so better , so winning , just completely over , black absolutely no counterplay , this position also so winning , it is so obvious , black plays this and clearly white winning here too . ...and white so solid , never losing , always better position for me , and there is big problem for black , and a I draw whenever I want , black had no chance in this game , white never at risk , I miss one little move and somehow black gets draw but clearly white better throughout this game , blah , blah , blah ........

Ding was better throughout....taking on e4 with the pawn was the drawing mistake by ding. Kramnik is so subjective in analyzing his own games. Bad Analysis.

It was actually pretty good game from both sides, even if not the most memorable. There were no clear blunders, except for matine's move 27... Bd7, but it's hard for a human player to calculate that move, so I don't think it's necessarily qualifies as a blunder. Kramnik could have played 32. Rc3 instead of Ne3, but it's still drawish, though Rc3 led to lines where black had plenty of room for making a blunder while after Ne3 black has easier time playing the position.

For all those complaining about Kramnik's hubris during this interview: OK. I can see why.
However, realize that this is an *interview.* Not a press conference. The host's body language and questions are nearly all directed at Kramnik ignoring Ding Liren.
This bias is built in from the way this interview was conducted by the *host,* and their responsibility. not Kramnik's. This is not a excuse, but it magnified what you all saw, and was not respectful to Ding Liren.

It's not so uncommon that chess players disagree about the position, even at the highest level. I trust Kramnik's analysis more, he's a phenomenal player, but I guess he was frustrated, and doesn't analyse with his normal accuracy in the press conference.
