- How to become a database administrator is one of the most often asked questions here on my RUclips channel. In today's video I provide you with information on how you can become a DBA.
I am a big fan of not reinventing the wheel when it comes to working in information technology. If you want to be a DBA, don't look for shortcuts or unproven paths to get there. Microsoft and other companies pretty much give you a free roadmap on how to achieve your goal. I use this information for this video to point you into the right direction to make the switch into a well-paying career in information technology.

I have been a software developer for 4 years now. Using databases with every software I build I have grown to love databases. I have been thinking of a career change and this may be it. Thank you for your advice

is it possible to get a dba job as a fresher ?
I landed my first job as a Software Support Specialist working with MySQL, MSSQL, and Oracle. My title isn't a "DBA" but its surely a stepping stone to that career path. So I would say yes its possible.
