Sorry to be a pain. Can you explain how to put the colour in and how many rows of each please.

I start with light color and I do 2 rows grey 2 rows mint and 2 rows light.
And I do 1 row of each color and finish the bags with light color.
For changing color:
When you are at the end of row you don't close single, crochet keep 2 loop on you hook and close the single crochet with new color.
