Same intelligence? "Democracy is the worst form of government" and "Leadership doesn't matter". You can find a lot of those in Russia.
Putin destroyed Democracy in Russia because of people like this who told Russians that nothing political mattered.

When I was in high school the football coach had to teach my political science class. He said his vote was more valuable than others because he studied the issues. The thing that I took away from this is that football coaches should not teach political science and political science teachers should not coach football. In a democracy the average, or uneducated voter in this situation, should be able to choose who represents them. A more educated person does not have any more of a right to this than anybody else.

To live in a Democracy mean the voters are expected to stay informed, follow news etc, make up their mind, discuss and make a decision on the day they vote, for this to work the media have an important role in informing the population, if people do not understand this, Democracy are only a hollowed out corpse

Russians built and still run megaprojects like trans-siberian rail or biggest dams, nuclear stations and nuclear icebreakers, space rockets and even only working space toilet. To support this level of engineering, you need an army of engineers. Not just a simple engineer minded people, but a real engineers. And Russia has them. When you hear that nuclear submarine is the most difficult construction in the world, remember that Russia also has them and still builds them.
So, my point is, Russia has a smart people. And those smart people don't disagree with Russian politics, otherwise they wouldn't built all those icebreakers, submarines, nuclear stations, they would just move to other countries and live there.

"democracy is the worst form of government"... If he said a few things you agree with after that you are daft, he is thinking like all dictators including hi+ler, that the majority of people are not qualified to decide their governance he goes on to talk about how only smart scholars should be allowed to vote, which would mean in Russia only the oligarchs and their children who can afford expensive education would be allowed to vote... So as long as democracy is a farce, a president like Putin is the best the nation can hope for. Someone competent and unscrupulous, who will do everything necessary to keep his nation strong, and won't allow its history and its people to be trampled over by the world at large.

Aleksei is a very thoughtful man. Democracy does have some negatives. That is why the founding fathers of the U.S. created the electoral college. First to partially even out power between small and large states and secondly to allow a potential safety mechanism against mass idiocy. The problem with excluding the drunkard is that the elite will hold all the power and though they may be well educated they are still often corrupt and they most often vote in favor of their own interests but when there is a war they want the uneducated drunkard to fight it. Power needs many checks and balances.

Even religion can be corrupted because religion on earth is managed by men, and no matter how well intentioned men can be, the desire for increase and maintain their power is almost always too much for them to ignore. As far as democracy goes, the idea is sound, but our founding father could never foresee or take into consideration the money that is behind the special interest groups and the major corporations that are the real powers of a “democracy”. These are the groups that will always run our governments, and it does not matter who wins from which party. You cannot get the backing from any party without making certain concessions or agreements with these special interest groups and corporations in order to get the money you need to run your campaign. Even an independent candidate needs a large amount of money to run a political campaign for airtime, campaign ads, etc., which he cannot get without getting significant corporate backing. We just keep voting to keep these special interest groups and corporations in position to help themselves.

    • @TM10000

@@fadiaz1969 Yep, organized religion is just another power structure and can be equally self interest motivated. I agree that special interest groups and corporations are a huge part of the current power structure. It looks like we are going to end up with two major presidential candidates in 2024 though 2/3rds of the population say they don't want either of them. That should be a huge rallying cry for an independent candidate but the likelihood of that candidate winning are still small because too many people are part of the ingrained structure and afraid upsetting the apple cart. And even if an independent candidate did win they would be road blocked every step when trying to make change. Perhaps things just need to get really bad before there is real change.

Nations are determined from the bottom up not the top down. If at the bottom people are afraid to voice their opinions and work toward a goal, they will be controlled by those who are not.

Thank you for your channel. I'm from the UK and I love how you show that Russian people are not all that bad and like that man said these things only happen because good people are being silent because they think there is no point of speaking up. But the more you talk and communicate with your fellow Russians the more they will wake up and realise. All the governments of earth don't have a clue about the struggles and reality in life, they are so disconnected with their rich lives.

@@SoThisIsMyCatso you think keeping quite is the best thing to do ?? talking out can land a person in prison, keeping quite can land you mobilised and at the front ,possibility from prison you come back a live from the front ,well that's another matter, and by the Russian death rate on the front ,prison looks somewhat cosier

@valleykingvids2059 , oh, so you're from the UK? And maybe you think you have nothing in common with Putin's Russia? Look again at your corrupt medias and shitty tabloids and we'll talk again. And especially the propaganda they're selling you and the majority of you happily buy. Where are the good people here for example?

    • @peter58peter

R u refering to kings and queens of ingland?

    • @valiasa-di6hr
      @valiasa-di6hr 6 месяцев назад

I'm referring to some narcissistic and shitty royal family who uses their subservient tabloids as their flying monkeys to harass, gaslight and smear and the brits are overjoyed of that fact. No different from North Korean propaganda of their
"dear leader". So as we can observe most people without critical thinking are easily manipulated by even the shittiest medias not only in Russia. If we look historically the issue with propaganda was no different in Nazi Germany where people were led to believe their leader knows the best and is not doing anything wrong. Clearly we don't learn from our mistakes since we're repeating the history over and over.

I liked what this man said. But he did pick his words carefully, as with most Russian citizens! I think more Russians would like to say what they really think, but are scared of repercussions.🇺🇦
