From what I got from the series and Manga, I think the priest is talking about the concept of universal love, and not the romantic/familial love that we tend to think of today.
I love it... I can't wait to add a little more stone on the shoulder and get the cracks... I know most people like/do characters, but my TMNT, Ghostbusters, and Dr. STONE are all my favorites... They're original designs/compositions by me. I can't draw though, so I do these horrible sketches and give reference images to my artist and he turns them into actual art.
*Edit the western Roman Empire has been gone for 100s of years at this point... I don't think/recall the Byzantine Empire doing much there... OP: Guess I missed that context... I thought them nothing but Welsh people. Thanks for the fill...
My thoughts go back to my original response... Fans of the lineage.... A group that held on to that legacy for a long time and either cared for existing gear and equipment or continued to craft new equipment in a similar matter... When I read your comment and thanked for context I immediately went back cause I remembered the year 😆.

I get that too. I was also thinking of the idea of love strong enough to sacrifice one's self... Or one's child... Coming from a priest and all.
The Tattoo is a great idea!

Roman names in Britain is not that unbelievable. Especially if some buy into the lineage more than others.
