    The guy who said it’s cheating, rock smith has helped me learn so much, it’s a huge difference between looking at tabs and seeing it on a fretboard

    I don't even consider rocksmith to be a "videogame", it's just animated tabs that are by far the fastest way to learn new songs (other than by ear of course). So yeah, rocksmith is not cheating. Granted you wouldn't have rocksmith playing in the middle of your gig, but I can't name a single guitarist that plays live with their sheet music out, so it doesn't really matter where you learn your songs from... As long you can play it live you're fine

    I still remember watching year and half in the life of metallica and bob rock giving Kirk shit with doing this solo and then Kirk pulls this solo out of nowhere just to shut Bob Rock up

      @Dankster-yo8xv 3 года назад +4

      That's why bob was pushing him. To get Kirk to be like "fuck you, how's this for a fucking solo?" Bob Rock new what he was doing

      @@Dankster-yo8xv that is the job of a producer, to push out the best performance of an artist so that the best work of the artist is heard on track.

    I think its pretty amazing you can just play guitar and not look at the frets, and you can also identify immediately where to play even when the tabs are coming at you all the time, in real time with the music. I have played guitar for quite a while, but i still suck. I can sort of play some harder songs, and by harder songs i really just mean harder riffs, because i have never bothered to learn a song on guitar in its entirety, however i only learn them because i grind them until i can play them, and when i say play them, i mean i can play them sloppily. I have no good technique at all. Seeing you play songs in real time, that would probably take me atleast a day to learn is just... I dont know, i just find that to be very impressive. No idea if its common among guitar players or not.

    Nice video! But I have a question, could you please tell me how are you changing the volume? I mean when you are playing on 1-7 fret its soft and then on 7+ its louder
