I'm happy for y'all. I'm loving the vibe and i miss how safe Korea is!! I was in Korea 4 years ago and i totally for got how safely you can get home any time of the day, what condition you are in. I don't drink much but when I'm visiting Korea next year, i will go to 'Nogari Alley', 'Sindosi', and 'UHR Music Lounge' for sure.

Haha, good observation!!! And I haven't noticed that pizza...wow! I miss the cheese toasties in Thai 7/11s...I'm embarrassed to admit how many of those Hays ate while we were in Bangkok in December.
@@StephandPete 7-11 is a treasure trove of amazing stuff in Asia 😂🤣 (they also have a hangover cure that my soldiers swore by. I never tried it because I am one of the lucky ones who never has a hangover)
@@robertmarsh8334 NEVER A HANGOVER? Certainly are lucky! We started taking those after this night, hehe. We haven't had as big of a night since, but we went out in Busan and took one of those packets and...maybe it worked!
@@StephandPete there are 2 liquid ones that were really popular. One with a green label that you drink in the morning (like a 5hr energy drink with a super dose of vitamins) and a blue one that you would take before bed that works by feeding the liver what it needs to boost the enzymes needed to deal with the alcohol (one of my Korean friends was Pre-Med and explained them to me back when I was there)
@@robertmarsh8334 hmm, these days the most popular ones seem to be in like, packets that you squeeze up. Sort of like the Propel/Crystal Light sort of individual things that you put in water. Except these are goo, not powder, and you suck them from the packet like honey sticks. They also give them out for free sometimes-- I learned at Jagalchi Market in Busan (we were with a local guide) that soju brands pay folks to walk around and when they see someone drinking a competitor brand of soju, they do fun games and giveaways to promote their brand. So that's the first time we tasted the hangover packets. There's also popular one that is a little packet of rabbit pellet looking things. Don't know how you eat those! We purchased them but then got given the free other ones so opted for them.
Seoul is a fast changing city, one place is popular for a few years, then it changes to another suburb. Lucky you stayed long enough to find those cool places.

Thanks, Megan! I took Nathaniel Drew's class. I like his stuff a lot. I haven't done anything technical on there. I use Premiere to edit and it's mostly just trial and error and practice.

Love this area, and I'm fond of 신도시.. have heard of some interesting musical performances going on there over the years. Great neighborhood to plop down on a street stool, have some dried fish and beer, and take in the atmosphere!

Hahahaha! I don't know what's more impressive...you guys going to 7 different bars within few hours or Pete's "call me James Brown" smoothe dance moves! I'm not going to lie but some of the bars seemed pretty creepy but kinda awesome at the same time. As you mentioned, there is no way those types of bars can exist here in the US for obvious reasons. I'm glad you guys were able to spend some quality time together without any time restriction and just having fun!
My favorite bars in this video are the first one you went to and the last 2 👍 I love the music bars there, so cool, right? When I came back to the states, I was hell bent on opening a cool music bar, but the dream died. Needless to say, I will travel for food and cool bars. You guys are living well. Cheers
You guys went to the right place! 'Hip'jiro is the nicknam of Euljiro among locals cuz this area is super hip. It used to be a place with lots of printing places but nowdays cool and trendy small bars and restaurants are there as the rent is lower than other neighborhoods... Hope Hipjiro remain safe from gentrification..
There's a sign that says "No dancing is allowed.Just chill out at your own table." at 6:40 where two girls are sitting.^^ Yet, I loved seeing you dancing.😊
He's growing quickly! Especially the last few months. We have watched some of our old Korea videos and he speaks so much more now, too! And none of his clothes fit, but we are having a hard time finding summer clothes (since we'll be in India soon) now that it's getting cold. :)
In Asia korea,Japan , Thailand are amazing country specially for last 10 years there technology, entertainment industry are next level and specially for korean people some people say korean are racism country i avoid these types of people 99% people are humble and polite in over world 🥰

He's growing quickly! Especially the last few months. We have watched some of our old Korea videos and he speaks so much more now, too! And none of his clothes fit, but we are having a hard time finding summer clothes (since we'll be in India soon) now that it's getting cold. :)
