Hey - thanks for the love - it blows my mind how many Audiophiles love this record - we really didn’t do anything special in the recording if it - it’s just the desk feed from the gig and then mixed by our legendary FOH Rob Kamer - I’m singing into a Neumann 104, guys’ bass is an insanely delicious Taylor Acoustic bass I think, Tim is hitting a €70 cajon and my guitars, by this point, is a very thrashed Brady Nylon after 5 years on the road I guess the secret is maybe, that we loved the songs, and the audience loved the songs, and somehow that symbiotic magic found its way into the desk ! Oh - and Union Chapel has an amazing vibe … F x
