I started using drugs and drinking at the age of 12, not realizing that the frontal portion of the brain is the portion that develops your decision making or critical thinking. I always use to wonder why I was stuck making decisions as a twelve year old until I turned 28, I was mature in my actions but when it came to thinking I would rationalize by thinking how I thought others seen me, but when I found my relationship with God he gave me wisdom to realize being myself and who he created me to be was the most important thing I needed to focus on. Since then I never turned back to my way of thinking because God is my mind regulator..

There's a shift in me spiritually, financially, emotionally. It's not yet big physically but I can overwhelmingly feel it. I've been amazed cos I know for sure it's not my might or power. Critical Thinking was offered as a required course to graduate college in 1995 when I earned my undergraduate degree. Glad that Critical Thinking was required in college. Definitely did not get taught in grades 8th thru 12th.

So powerful. I went back to school later in life to get a degree. Almost from the first day I knew my thinking was being altered. I literally felt myself becoming a robot and couldn't do anything about it. Whenever I raised a point that was different from the teacher's approach the whole class looked at me like I was crazy. So i made a decision to keep my true opinions to myself. When I finished the degree it felt like i didn't know who I was or what I wanted. Because it's like you said, I wanted someone to tell me what to do. I had a slave mind. This is what I believe is behind the true intention of education as we know it, to promote Caesar's kingdom. I decided I needed to think for myself again. I prayed and sought the Holy Spirit to recalibrate my creative thinking skills. I started by being in the word every day, and committed to reading 10 books this year plus re-reading some of my favourites. It is hard to see how deceived we are and how difficult that is to change. Thank you for this teaching on the mind. As someone recovering from a psychosis episode, I refused to believe that meds and defeat were my portion. And now God is giving me strategies and teachings like yours to have complete healing and I can't believe how well my symptoms have improved. Critical Thinking was offered as a required course to graduate college in 1995 when I earned my undergraduate degree. Glad that Critical Thinking was required in college. Definitely did not get taught in grades 8th thru 12th.

So powerful. I went back to school later in life to get a degree. Almost from the first day I knew my thinking was being altered. I literally felt myself becoming a robot and couldn't do anything about it. Whenever I raised a point that was different from the teacher's approach the whole class looked at me like I was crazy. So i made a decision to keep my true opinions to myself. When I finished the degree it felt like i didn't know who I was or what I wanted. Because it's like you said, I wanted someone to tell me what to do. I had a slave mind. This is what I believe is behind the true intention of education as we know it, to promote Caesar's kingdom. I decided I needed to think for myself again. I prayed and sought the Holy Spirit to recalibrate my creative thinking skills. I started by being in the word every day, and committed to reading 10 books this year plus re-reading some of my favourites. It is hard to see how deceived we are and how difficult that is to change. Thank you Dr. Trimm for your powerful delivery of this message. My goal is to have your mentorship one day. God Bless you even more abundantly. 🙏
