MOJOBOX HACK! Unleash full power

This is a simple trick to get more slap and range out of the Mojobox V2. *please note: I just tilted this, and I am still reviewing it to determine if it is a stable solution. Very easy to try, and easy to switch back if you don’t like it.

I can’t seem to find what the base stroke is for this machine? At the “1” setting is it the general 3.5mm? I’m going to try this with mine it sounds beautiful Dan. I just wonder about how long before you may have to replace the shrink on the end of the spring? The impact/vibration from the machine would affect it often right?

I don’t know if the shrink tube will wear out yet. It depends on the shrink tubing material. The nice thing is that is easy to replace. I would just Set the stroke wheel where it feels right. I never look at the numbers.. if it is hitting too soft, I just open up the stroke a little more.

I use my 2.2 only for carts and small lettering... For all other lining my V3R with regular needles. Havent have the need to try the modjobox to replace the V3R. Hope to try the 46er and ghost dog revival in a near future

You can get a v2 upgrade on a v1.. and then it will hold up very well and have a nicer hit

Not quite.. almost. I went with a different spring gage to get it a little more tame while having better performance shader characteristics. This way will definitely slay down, a little more than the average tattoo artist may appreciate.

@@ne9ator the v2.2 is already this, but with a thicker spring. The thicker spring makes it a little more versatile
