THIS IS SO FREAKIN AMAZING SARA!! As the creator of Soul to Call I can't even begin to describe how cool it feels to see my work condensed into this detail rich, hauntingly beautiful video. And to watch it move! Holy crap!! The time and attention it must have taken to make something like this is awe inspiring, and to know my comic is what inspired it is so honouring and humbling. Thank you so much for making this, I've been watching it on repeat for probably hours at this point and it makes me so excited to continue with my work. SO GOOD.
I'M SO GLAD YOU LIKE IT ROMMIE Thank you so much for making a comic that inspires me so much 😭😭 Genuinely, the love I feel for STC is so strong and I can't fathom not reading it's updates every week, so I'm happy to give back in this small way. ILUSM THANK YOU FOR MAKING SOMETHING SO GOOD ❤️❤️
THIS IS INCREDIBLE!!! I can't stop watching it, what a beautiful and haunting tribute to an amazing webcomic. I love the chaos of all of this, with gut punches and finer details that would make Rommie proud, prompting that same close investigation that the comic does. PSA: Playback speed can be adjusted, try this on 0.25x. Leave the audio on if you want to feel like your brain is melting. First of all your illustration style is amazing, but to see it MOVING breathes whole new life into not only these characters, but iconic moments from the comic thus far. The Falk family polaroid animated reminds me that that was indeed a living memory, not just a static photo. The Mendoza brothers section is a haunting reminder of the eerie, quiet, graceful death that gives Soul to Call its distinct type of horror. The abstractions around Eli strike straight to the chest, holding the deer is an iconic shot to see so tragically animated. The VOLKOVA STRIDER PANEL! One of my favourite moments in the entire comic animated with a camera shake is HYPE to the umpteenth degree! God, James' gun after the dead drop of the dog tags is the visualisation of DREAD. And Tiffany. Just. Tiffany. All finished off with that agonising shot of Avril at the end, ugh my god. If I weren't already obsessed with Soul to Call, this animation would certainly pique my goddamn interest. God I could talk about this all day, just like the webcomic, and that's a great sign. Such immaculate work! Love it love it love it!
