I appreciated that you didn’t add music. It’s part of why I love the library, going on walks, etc. Having silence and choosing to not put headphones in.
I loved this video, it felt so down to earth :) but hey, it would be really nice to see a sponsor that is not betterhelp. I feel like they’re in just about every video you make now. Everyone’s promoting them as a great way to start therapy, but they don’t take insurance and it’s a subscription model that honestly ends up being more expensive than just sourcing a local registered clinical counsellor or social worker in many cases
furthermore, they’ve been exposed time and time again to take advantage of their customers and overall being a whack ahh company

Funny to see that even if your body is now staying at the same place, your mind is still restless and still craving for more journeys, which you're now finding in the library and in museums.
Btw, not related to reading (but will still take you on for a ride), I've got a feeling you'd love the anime Frieren.
It's full of emotional moments and philosophical questions about a 1000+yo elf mage who learns to discover how precious life is through the scope of the humans she spend time with (knowing that 50 years, which is basically a whole human lifespan, is but a mere weekend to her), and that I'm pretty sure it will resonate with you. It just ended its first season and it's on Netflix, and EVERYONE is buzzing about it. Tell me how you felt about it once you finish it.
Hint : Don't binge it ! It's a very slow paced series that deserves to be savoured one episode a week (and if really you can't hold it for a week, a couple of days between each episode at least, so each one of them can slowly sip into your mind).
Another fantasy one that's really fantastic (and still airing right now) is Delicious in Dungeon, a cooking series disguised as a fantasy story, where the heroes, because they're broke, survive their adventures in the dungeon... by cooking the monsters they kill ! It's absurd, it's super funny, and with Frieren, it's one of THE series of the moment.
The anime is adapting one of the most beloved mangas of these past 5 years, done by Studio Trigger, one of Japan's bestest studios of these past 15 years, with the music composed by the legendary Yasunori Mitsuda, composer of the legendary game Chrono Trigger, from almost 30 years ago.
With all these ingredients, we're just witnessing the advent of a modern legendary series in itself to begin with !

To me it's to this decade what Avatar the Last Airbender was to the early 2000's : A fantasy animation series that doesn't take kids for fools !
If you want quality animation, Netflix has them in droves.
Spy x Family, a hilarious spy thriller where everybody in the (fake) family (found for the sake of a big mission) is super secretive about their lives (the dad is a James Bond like super-spy, the mother is the best assassin of the country, and the adopted daughter is a telepath who's the only one in the family knowing her parents secrets identities, but has to keep her abilities concealed for more comedic effects). And it's just hilarious ! One of the comedic genius series of our times.
Pretty much all the Ghibli movies are in there, but you can also (re)discover the (incredibles) Spiderverse movies,
Arcane (one of the most visually incredible animation series of all times ! And the story and the characters are also pretty heart-wrenching),
Klaus, a wonderful Spanish animated movie about the origin story of Santa Claus,
Nimona, a super heartfelt movie about a wronged knight having to team up with a raucous shapeshifting teenage girl to fix his reputation,
Summit of the Gods, an incredible french adaptation of legendary Jiro Taniguchi's graphic novel about mountain climbing and its almost philosophical parallel with life.
Pluto, the formidable adaptation of Naoki Urasawa's manga that was itself a remake/tribute to Osamu Tezuka's legendary Atom (Astro) Boy...
The list is long and will keep you busy for a little while...

I love this! Thank you so much for sharing! I have always journaled, but started doing morning pages more consistently last month! It has been nice so far. I’ve also been enjoying yoga, but don’t have a consistent time/routine that I am going specifically. I started reading more too after graduating, thanks for the recs, I’ll have to look them up. I’ve been debating going to visit some local libraries, but haven’t mustered up getting around to the action of it yet. So, this is encouraging hehe. I would also like to start doing the artist dates, even like going to the movies by myself. Trying to incorporate new habits for myself one step at a time. Any tips for that? Or also for time management, like balancing these things with work and rest?
Setting timers to limit my working time has been really helpful! In terms of applying the habits I think just time! I’m still working on it too :D you’re doing great!! Keep going 🫶
