    I don't have the room to keep bees but it's cool to see how this is done

      They are really low impact. I am a novice bee keeper but its a lot of fun!

    I'm in the Southeast and small hive beetles are a PITA. I use those beetle blasters like you have, swifter sheets and Guardian hive entrance protectors. You gotta keep that board underneath the screen cleaned off during the season. Those wax moths can really ruin a hive quickly. Concerning storing that honey super you took off, if any of the frames have comb, especially if there is any pollen stored in the comb then put those frames in a freezer for a couple of days to kill any wax moth eggs or larvae before you store it for the winter in your shed. Probably do the same thing again before putting it back on the hive next spring. Wax moths can be difficult to get rid of.

      Oh boy, thank you for that information! This was my first season beekeeping so I'm learning a lot as I go.
