I first heard of Jimmy Gaudreau from the live Tony Rice at Tony Rice Unit - Mechanics Hall - Worcester, MA. (4-8-1990). What a great show that is to listen too. Thanks for posting this interview.
Jimmy is one of my musical heroes. He has played with many of the heavy hitters of bluegrass and I sure look forward to seeing/ hearing more of him on RUclips.
OMG….listening to Jimmy’s interview here, I was able to put a name to the band my wife and I heard at the Holiday Inn Lexington, Kentucky, during our stop on a delayed honeymoon. We decided to have dinner at the HI, and my wife went to the restroom. While she was gone, some powerful bluegrass music busted out in the lounge and when Mary returned I told her we have to eat quickly so we can go see who’s playing. So we spent our first honeymoon night with you guys…and loved every minute of the time.
Thanks for sharing this! I'm glad Jimmy's interview helped bring back the name. It's awesome that you were there and heard some of that band! Thanks for watching!

Great guy
Don't knock a Blueridge guitar I have a Blueridge br160 that I have had for around 20 years and I haven't found a Martin guitar that could beat it
I had a BR-160 as well. Shouldn't have sold it. Great guitar!
Did he play with Larry Sparks?
@@danielwangler532 No, he never played with Larry Sparks.
