I'm honestly surprised more people don't mention your last tip, which is not shampooing every day. I was always under the impression that every time you shower (which for me is every morning), you should shampoo your hair. I've stopped doing it every day and now do it about twice a week and it really makes a huge difference.

I wash my hair nearly every day, but use a shampoo once a week and it works great.
I was told by a professional that shampooing your hair every day is important, and that leaving that much oil on your hair could result in you losing it. Plus, that this tip is meant for people who dye their hair so that they don't lose their natural color.
no actually this depends on the oiliness of the hair some ppl should do it once a week, some twice, some every other day, and some everyday. if you have really oily hair yes then you have to wash it everyday ofc.

When I'm home by myself, sometimes I'll spray on one of my decent smelling cheapies (around $20) since thats the only time I'll wear them. If I'm hanging out at home with my girl though, why wouldn't I want to smell good?

i understand that grooming your nose and ear hair is important, but nose hair filters the air you breath in and makes it cleaner.
also, your ear hair is importent to dempen the sound vibration and also keep large bits of stuff out of your ear to protect your eardrums.
so yes you should groom them, but dont get rid of all of it and try to keep as much as you possibly can.
Luc van Driel Dude He only talks about the hair sticking out or showing. While they do act as filters its only a small fraction. Hence, I'd say its a good trade off

i disagree about the deodorant. it's anti-perspirant that we need, as deodorant will only mask the odor but do nothing about sweating.
lullemans72 Ant- perspirant are harmful for your skin as it blocks the pores of the skin. Perspiring is one of our body's function to remove waste from the body. Do some research
i know what antiperspirant does. and it doesn't completely block out the sweat, only to a certain degree. i would rather use that (a decent one, though) than sweating like crazy in my shirts and watching them turn yellow because of the chemicals in the deodorant.

Ive yet to wear deodorant in my life and have had no complaints from anyone ive been with. So theres definitely some exceptions

I get it about shampooing. Not so long ago in a 6-week trek in the Himalayas I didn't use shampoo once. My hair was lush!
However, my line of work leaves me grimy and sweaty so I shower daily after work. if I don't shampoo I very quickly end up with dirty, grimy hair. What else can I use to get the City's grime off my hair?

How do you use and wash hair wax everyday if you need to shampoo only thrice a week?
use a water based product, and rinse it out with water. If it gets greasy use dry shampoo.
