Do the Next Right Thing - OC Animatic

I don't wanna be the person to write a whole novel in the description, so the short version of this story is that it's a retelling of The Snow Queen in which the titular character is a dead empress who thinks her dead son is still alive and so kidnaps a boy to hold onto him forever, forcing his mother to go rescue him.
Original stuff doesn't always do well on YT, but this story is really special to me and reminded me of this lovely song from a terrible movie.

I think this somehow lodged itself in the back of my brain. Because now IM using the next right thing as a song inspiration for a pivotal wintery moment involving grief in my fairytale retelling
