He does! That's one of the reasons I love listening to him. He was preaching the same way back in the 90's as he does now. Even preaches the same messages in the same way. The consistency is incredible.

Your prayer caught my eye bcuz I live in MD although I’m working in FL at the moment. My home is in MD. God is good and He will bring us through our trials. Please pray with me for a sudden miracle. I need the suffering to end in Jesus name. I was diagnosed with paralysis almost 4 yrs ago, told that I would never walk again by the doctors. I have been diagnosed with other diseases that also try to come against my health.
My living conditions are not good. I live in a nursing home where I do not receive good or the proper care AND I am sometimes verbally, emotionally and physically abused.
Jesus is still on the THRONE!!! I trust God, Jesus, Holy Spirit and the Blood for my total & complete healing with total restoration, please pray & agree with me. Waiting for the manifestation.

I know what emotional pain and suffering feels like. I come from a broken home and a family that's separated, where in the process i lost my brother, mom, husband and children. My dad and I are left alone and we struggle to get along. As a matter of fact my entire family that's separated each individual still struggle to get along with one another although we no longer live together as a happy family. It can be real heartbreaking for me dealing with it most of the times. I wish someone could just stand in the gap with me and pray for a miracle for my family and I to reunite.
I am praying for you my dear I have been going through some of the similar issues . But God keep your faith And remain strong the sun will shine again

This crisis is showing me exactly who I am. My weakness has been magnified. I am learning to stop fighting my character defects. My defects allowed sin in my life but God is a righteous judge. He knows why I do what I do much more than I know. I am learning to accept what I can’t change and change what it is in my power to change. His strength is made perfect in my weakness.

Victoria O unless I’m misunderstanding your comment, but sharing my home with anyone other than my immediate family is exactly what we’re not suppose to do! And when I say my comfortable home it was more so to say I could be in a hospital bed, but I’m in my home Thank God! which is more comfortable then being sick in the hospital like so many people are. So I won’t dare complain about having to stay home. And before you tell someone what they should do whom you have no clue about from one comment, perhaps you should refrain from ASSUMING that they are not doing anything. Or perhaps you should focus on what you’re doing.

I cannot believe how piercing this truth is. I had the same experience with my dad's last year and death. I am so grateful to God for his grace and peace to stand with me all through my pain, disappointment and struggles. I was so distraught that He let my father and mother die young. They served God with absolutely everything they had. But I know now that God was with me the whole time and is still with me now and never let me go without no matter what situation I've been in or will be in. Thank you Bishop for being obedient in your service to God and your preaching to the people. God bless you!

This is a spot-on sermon! I love this guy. =)
This is why, as Catholics, we have the crucifix. We all suffer, and it's good to meditate and pray in front of the crucifix: to unite ourselves to Christ in all the many times of suffering - there is a lot of grace from this. Moreover, praying the rosary is very powerful and fruitful, because we can pray the sorrowful mysteries, and specifically meditate on the passion of Christ. Furthermore, the stations of the cross are in every Catholic church because all of what Mr. T.D. Jakes had mentioned in his sermon.
"Suffering does not discriminate...nobody escapes it"; however, those who are wise understand that the true escape is psychological and faith based. Thank you for your continued energy and sharing of the word, pastor Jakes.
Yes Bishop Jakes, I met Jesus in my suffering at the age of while being horrifically abused by an older sister. Magnify Jesus while being abused by a husband who hated God. I knew More of God while going trough the wilderness. My suffering caused me to want preach Jesus. To stand on God’s word. So I went to seminary, became a worshiper, became ordained to live for Jesus. Now at 72, I can not be separated from my God the Father, Jesus my Redeemer and the Holy Spirit my comforter, my counselor and teacher.
This was a great sermon by T.d.jakes. I look at my self everyday, and I do ask God to forgive me for all my sins!!!! I can't speak for other's in this world. I ask for God and Jesus help,cause i am in a deep depression. This is typed by Chastity Lampkin😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭.

I can relate to Bishop’s struggle so much. I will never forget when I got hurt working in a steel foundry named Wheland Foundry and how much pain I went through but God healed me and he strengthened me as I rehabilitated myself now look 👀 at me Glory To God. I would have never known that God was a healer until he healed me. Jesus is the Best Thing That Has Ever Happened To Me.

Hard worker, only to be mistreated, talked bad about & to, low paying, but I just could not fit into the gossip, or the things my boss allowed to take part in & allow, it wounded my spirit, But I had been forced to walk away, not knowing how my responsibilities will be provided for, but trusting god that when one door closes, God opens another, I have grd.kids I may have to take care of & raised, I believe it's my calling to do, my finances not enough to handle but I am trying to believe & keep the faith, remain humble, but not break under pressure, being thankful for what I do have, thank you for letting me suffering don't last always, also don't go unrewarded it's not meant to break me but keep me strong in my race in life.

Through the storm God is with us, in the fire He is there, whenever adversities comes up against us, remember God is with us. God promised never to leave us nor forsake us, let us all be still inspite of all that's happening right now, and know who our God is, Christ is bigger that our fears.
