She's my favourite here as well! She's really just looking for fun in this game and her and Spidey's interactions are so... wholesome, even though they have tension, it doesn't go any further and I love how she's like a friend. It's so sweet.

@@99thJediWarrior Just Insomniac Black Cat in general. She isn't a good friend of Peter or bothers helping him out when he is facing a bigger threat when she is aware of it. She just isn't a good adaptation, and they only got the surface level material. She's my least favorite out of all of them.

All joking aside, this game was phenomenal, especially for its time. Storyline is complex and deep, and the gameplay, while simple, was incredibly fun and rewarding. I still own the game and am planning on replaying it soon.

I actually like how this version of their relationship was purely platonic. She acts like that cute tomboy friend who'd back you up every step of the way. She even convinces peter to get out of his stupor when he's upset about Mary Jane.
Yeah he would be too hard on himself something I needed to learn to take it easy not let life put me down or allow other's ignorance to destroy me or make me question myself on anything good I do.

I always liked Black Cats whole dynamic over all and I gotta say, it's nice re-watching this after years of not playing the game. She was interested but also there to help Peter out, even when he was trying to choose between the two and came out at a loss for it. Easily my fav Black Cat and if she ever has a live-action debut, I hope it's more on this version

Black cat was a badass chick and pretty persuasive she cares about spidey she understands that ,he has doubts and complicated scenarios I guess trying to pick between the two balancing a normal life and being a hero at the same time is frustrating especially when you got yourself but other people to look after. There are many reasons why the Insomniac devs looked to this game before making theirs. This was the "gold standard" of Spidey games back then.

@@apollo3426 Actually it's just called "Spider-man" it was released in 2018 on the PS4 console. Black cat made a voice cameo in the main game and became a main character in the first of the DLCs called "The Heist". There are plenty of easter eggs calling back to this 2004 game including a nod to the chase music, the aura as mentioned above and the fact we first meet her in the same museum in both games.

Lately I've been without my video game, I remembered my favorite game so much that I missed that game, so I came here to remember one of my favorite stages of Black Cat. it makes me so nostalgic it took me back to the year 2000, took me back to how I was a kid. I love this game so much that I am very hopeful to release a Reamstered/Remake of this game. If they don't release it, I just want to say that I'm very grateful to the creators for creating this game that marked my childhood

How right you are. The style of Raimi’s Spider-Man would clash but I definitely believe there are ways Spider-Man & Daredevil (and Matt Murdock as a lawyer) could work together on screen like how certain comics handled it.

She showed up every time when it was Peter Parker side, and not Spider-Man's, and in the end she helps and becomes friends with Peter Parker, without even knowing his name.
