- Today we're running silent (my mouth that is - no yammering). The Modern Marx ballast dump train that was on the Edge of Town layout a few days ago has been moved to this layout and it runs like a champ. Love it!

Many thanx William! With temps rising outside, it’s going to be a bit harder to shoot videos in The Cave as there’s no A/C out there but I think I can still squeeze out a few videos this summer.

Thanx John! Yes indeed, Marx made a dumping accessory for cars like these. I have two of them in my collection (I have a LOT of Marx that hasn’t shown up in any of my videos).

The Milwaukee Chippewa looks great with a string of CMStP dump cars.
It does for sure! Although I’ve run the engine before, this was the first run for the cars even though I’ve had them for many years!

The whole consist is Modern Marx. Unfortunately, the original Louis Marx Co. never made anything in Milwaukee Road livery.
