Dan is quickly becoming one of my favorite artists/guitarists and I have only known of him for about two months. Easily one of the very best guitarist out there. I have already made a few post on other videos about Dan to let other people know about him.

James Coyne - might be that Smellie Fellowes was just wearing his trademark pink leather shoes.

Red socks, no shoes, Dalwyn! I used to wear sandals - well, I still do - and the red socks, but I'd play wearing the socks only. It started as a joke, but quickly developed a life of its own!

Thought it might be Rod Dry from Silver Creek Mountain band. Saw them play some Hendrix bluesy stuff back in the day.

Too much SRV on this get your own voice better

Oh come on man...very harsh...yes SRV influence but everyone sounds unique on such a tactile instrument.

Some SRV influences there, but Dan plays the Strat with finesse. SRV was a heavy hitter (hand) so SRV's emotions are channeled alot with his playing style. Which sets SRV on a whole lot of different playing/sound. We have to give credit to Dan for writing/playing an original composition of his.👍🤙👏

Makes you proud to be a South African native, Clive.
Thanks for this one. Ha! You can hear the Santana influence and he's also had some fusion influence. Larry Carlton comes to mind.
