I saw max Webster play at Hamilton Place did Live Magnetic Air in 1979 Kim is the best guitarist I’ve seen pegged him like the slow hand Eric Clapton a phenomenal musician, gentleman and loved him on the Q! Come back to Hamilton Kim we love u❤️
Thanks for the close up of the fingerings in the stairstepping end solo. I've always loved this song too, great to see if can still do a good job in 2011!
Max (with the original line up...Kersey and Tilka) played a dance at my old high school well before the first album was released (thanks principal Brown) needless to say, I bought it the day it was available at Sam The Record Man
Shame on me. I just discovered this LP today in a record sale. Amazing band with some hard to describe moments. Sounds mostly conventional but at times also very sophisticated progressive-leaning music. Good to know he's been playing this track that was the one that convinced me about buying the LP Thanks!
I loved this album all those years ago.......and in the last month (October 2020) have rediscovered it.....can’t stop playing, can’t get it out of my head.....it’s a wonderful thing! And this song is the greatest ending to an album of all time....period.
All his best songs are about the moon. Kim should be on the next landing.

Wow! Thanks for posting this! Kim is so highly under rated and under appreciated! Webster was ahead of their time! Awesome!

:)
Since he wrote the song... is it really a flub,
or clever spur-of-the-moment improvisation...? ; )
