Joshua, I am soooooo proud of you! You are such a hard worker! I can see that you find fulfillment in your work. Your family benefits greatly from your diligence and excellence. I pray for your family about once a week. It is nice to "hear" from y'all. I feel encouraged to see the wonderful farm your family is running, and I know that it was a great decision for you all to move from the tract house onto a farm. I am also really impressed that one of your videos has nearly 1/2 million views!!!!!! Wow! Please tell your Mom I say, "Hello!!!" and I have purchased a laptop with the specs you recommended, and am slowly getting it set up. I'll check back in with you in a few weeks, hopefully. Thanks!!! - Becky Hunter
Hi Becky, thanks for watching and its nice to hear from you! I find it hard to imagine what i'd be doing with my life if we hadn't moved, and in addition to the farm this area is great doing outdoor activities. We've been super busy with our hatchery for the last couple months so I haven't made a video in a while but we've all been doing a lot this year. As far as the laptop, whenever you are ready you can text me and I'll help you set it up and transfer your files.
OK so ive just binged watched like 10 or more of your videos!!! The most satisfying timelapses on RUclips. FACT! You are so hardworking and you just get stuff done!!! New sub from London, UK! Can't wait to see what you timelapse next!!!! 😁
Thanks for watching and subscribing! I do have more time lapse videos planned, some of which I've already partially filmed including work on the farm. Most of the time I like to accumulate footage over a couple months to make a big compilation so I only upload a couple of those per year, but I also have more non time lapse videos planned.
That's cool, thanks for watching! I will continue making videos, I don't upload that often but I do try to make quality content. I'll explain what I'm doing a bit; we have a small family farm mostly where we raise birds and every year we do a large cleanup project to keep the farm running well, and I also make videos about other projects we do such as building things.
I do plan to upload more videos, I've been wanting to do a farm tour for a while as well as a few others so I should be getting to those soon. Our hatchery takes the majority of our time during the spring but we're just about finished with that.
@@joshuareynolds5219 Very good, I'm looking forward to it ... I love your videos, I'm from Brazil, whenever I have new videos I watch with my mother who also loves her videos ... We wish you and your family all the best and the best ... Hugs 👊❤️
Great video. I must say I am worried for the future health of your eyes and lungs working with animal particulates without a substantial filter mask and goggles like that. Safety first.
Thanks for watching, and I appreciate your concern. I actually did wear a respirator during the majority of the time I was shoveling manure out of the coops (it's hard to see in the video), but I haven't worn goggles while doing it. So far I have never had any issues with my eyes or lungs but I agree it's good to be mindful of the risks and I probably should have more protection in the future.
So relieved to hear! I have been a fan forever and often go back to enjoy past videos. Be well and sending health to your whole family (including the humans) from the Netherlands. ;-)
The excavator is a Kubota KH41, its at least 30 years old and needed a lot of electrical work when we got it, but works really well for small projects like this.
Does this cleaning happen once a year? If so why when it's obvious it need to be clean a lot more often when you have livestock. The whole place is filthy
I usually do one major cleaning per year, but I agree it really should be done in smaller bits throughout the year. In reality though, its nearly impossible to keep the farm clean at all times with so many animals, but doing all the cleaning at once does make an interesting time lapse video
@@joshuareynolds5219 Then maybe you need to downsize. The animals should have a healthy environment the amount of chicken droppings you shoveled up is not healthy. I don't know what kind of farm you are running but I doubt it would pass a health and safety check. Hire someone as it's too much for you
I don’t understand, you work yourself into The ground & then your family immediately begins to mess it up terribly Then you start all over again I don’t get why you would want to continue the cycle very dysfunctional arrangement. The poor animals also suffer from the poor management. Good luck 👍

If Josh went away to college (in a couple years?) and studied half as hard as he labors on his folks' place, he'd surely be successful. :D
