***** Sure they do! The hypnotist in the first part of the video is named John Cerbone, he's got a ton of stuff up on RUclips. Or, you can check out his Speed Trance method in videos with Richard Nongard, another hypnotist with a prolific RUclips presence.
***** We had a hypnotist visit my college one year during a week of activities gear towards freshman and helping them make friends and crap like that. I went on stage with about 14 others (none of which I knew)...
While I tried my damnedest to be hypnotized, it did nothing for me; HOWEVER, I was able to track down some of the others on stage at the time (some were kicked off for faking or coming out the trance, I was a theater major and improv'd my way through to stay on stage) but, without a doubt, they convinced me that they had no recollection of what happened up there. One actually had relationship problems because of things she did/said onstage...
Overall it was a fun experience, and I do believe some of the people on stage were actually entranced.

Hypnosis is when you calm the mind down so much it forces you to sleep, once asleep your mind if weak from calming it down so much. And so, using a similar voice to what was used to cause them to sleep, you can give them commands and they will dream of that yet not remember the dream. Once they wake up you can ask them or command them something related towards your original command and they will follow because they had little time for their mind to recover. You did not relax each other enough, you both needed to be as calm as possible.

I do hypnosis and the way that will work is that the person will subconsciously do there interpretation of it. I had it once where they were told to sing poker face everything someone clapped and they didn't know the song and just started to sing the one line over and over
You wouldn't be able to hipnotise someone to do something if they didn't want to do it.

+Femke Vande Walle there are some inductions that u can do to people without them knowing. u bassicaly need to have studied a bit a bout the brain and reading people's behaviour. so you can Know when their in trance so you can acces their subconscious and give commands. I suggest studying embedded commands before you start hypnoses

From what I have always heard, the subject's initial preconceptions about hypnosis have a lot to do with hypnosis' success. If a person thinks it's going to work, hypnosis has a higher chance to actually do something to the brain, but if a person such as myself thinks from the get-go that hypnosis is bunk, it won't work.
