One of the hardest things to do is be patient when it’s time to be creative because creativity is not something you do it’s some thing you find when you go explore in your mind
When it comes to making leads sound more "human" or "alive", I think a good way to think about it is "how would I sing it?" Where would things swell, where would you add vibrato, what notes would be quieter?
Thanks, I didn't watch the video but based on the thumbnail I started setting filter cutoff on 32% for all instruments and my tinnitus is getting better and better.
It’s super fun to watch these tutorial, your music skills are just next levels, there’s SO much variation in these tracks it pulls you in and not only that the tips are super helpful
Bro I mostly make rap/trap beats but I always come here for your knowledge because it always useful cool stuff you teach. You’re a blessing my brother thank you ❤
@@Oversampled Thank you for the reply. I really appreciate it. I watched the video again this morning. Thank you for that as well. I guess I was just wondering if there is a more in depth way of doing just dostorted kicks. I maybe over thinking it. I just wondering if I am doing my kicks the wrong way, that is why I asked if you have a video for distorted kicks. Thank you again, much appreciated.
Just discovered your channel and its amazing ! Here a little trick I make often : recording a melody line in audio, then reverse some long notes. This make intresting songs sometimes :) (english is not my native language, sorry misspellings)
Is there a way to control Pitch Bend, Gliding, Vibrato in instruments like the Ableton Sampler? It seems like they can only be done in Synthesizers like Serum?
Great video. But something 30 seconds in bothered me a little bit. That really fast run of notes is...not so much slurred as completely blurred together in humanized version. I think it had more character when every note was precise and sharply articulated. As someone who did band all the way through a few years of college woodwind ensemble, that humanized run sounds natural alright...for someone in high school band who hasn't been practicing like they were supposed to. It isn't inhuman for runs like that to be practiced to a seemingly robotic perfection thanks to muscle memory. I get adding minute variations on a lot of parts, but my experience in large ensembles tells me something like that run sounds best when it goes off perfectly and clearly.
The track that so many people ask about is here!😁soundcloud.com/aidenwilliams/faceit
dude your videos are actually fun to watch because you really make good music.
It’s sooo good, he’s probably my favorite production RUclipsr
Thats true, most tutorials teach how to make trash, oversampled is the fucking goat!

And kinda hard to do when burnt out. So it's always nice to take a break, maybe a quick cold shower, and... EUREKA!

6:12 I was today years old when I found out you could automate the x and y position of a point on an LFO on serum. Sick!
