Maybe as a future idea you could make a wheel of patterns you have bought that you haven’t made yet. I was thinking about doing that myself just so I don’t have to decide what to make next.
I have no idea the exchange rate right now but probably half that cost in US currency as it was over $1.50 to buy $1 last time we thought about a trip down there

If you're starting to really feel icky sicky, look for a simple orzo soup recipe! It kicks a colds butt and is great for picky eaters (like me). Cook some veggies in broth, blend them up like they never existed, pour over orzo pasta. Yum!
In Portugal we cook orzo into chicken soup (just chicken, onion, garlic and the orzo) sometimes we even have it letter shaped 😆 I have a bag in my cupboard right now and I’m sick too, so may make some!
I finally finished my first hexagon cardigan but I used a 4 weight yarn so it took a little while and the blocks are smaller but I love it just the same!!

I'm crocheting a 250 chain scarf at the moment. Just back loop hdc. I make hoody scarves a lot, and it always seems to take longer to make the hood. They always sell well. Love that colour. It looks great.
I love that i was actively also using premier puzzle to make a scarf when this video popped up on my feed (i may have just bought more today, too. walmart has it for $5.98/skein😉)
I like this idea, I make stuff for homeless to keep the warm. I don’t generally have any bulky yarn just a lot of worsted weight. Maybe I can try to accommodate. Smaller yarn
Hey just wanted to give you a simple tip: when doing a swatch you can cheat by doing the 12 across but then only doing like five for the rest of the rows. you still get accurate measurement without spending a bunch of time on it (specially if you have to redo it over and over to get the right gauge like me)
For projects with really long starting chains I’ve begun using foundation sc/dc/etc instead. My regular chain tension gets weird when it’s so long. ETA: also it’s way easier for me to accurately count stitches if I lose track lol
i have to make 2 scarves in 4 days, and normally i take a little longer to crochet stuff like that but i have to get them done, and i finished the first one so i think i'll be able to finish the other one too

The bean stitch is when you go around a dc 3 or 4 times. For example dc 2 go around the 2nd dc 3 or 4 times dc in the next 2 sts so on and so on
lol That stare over the gauge. I FEEL you! I never gauge. I usually wing it, and frog it by turns until I get it how I want it LOL.
