Patrick is definitely doing a bad ass real wheelie. Gary is technically doing a wheelie but without any kind of guidelines like Patrick mentioned of 300 yards or running through gears, someone will break his record no problem. It takes real talent to ride a wheelie as long as Pat does.

of course a proper wheelie is of considerable distance....and through the gear box at least two gears.....what bike lover with any knowledge would argue this point..????
imo you dont have to change gears for it to be considered a proper wheelie. a good rider can keep a wheelie going for ages on any gear, and is a 1km wheelie in 1st gear not a proper wheelie??
he is right about cheat wheelie for my opinion just lifting the front wheel and land it straith after is not a real wheelie real wheelie is minimum 5 second
The thing is it is also that Ghostie has built a bike that is actually even capable of doing this, which also is VERY hard to do ....The bike being THIS powerful at times when he had his Hayabusa with 499 hp which still was driveable AND then also being able to do this as a rider.... The other guy was a really nice rider, but he "just" took an already built bike to try it out instead of creating one himself and do it like ghostie did.... And on top also having the difference in their bikes aerodynamics and then the "naked" like bike still does seemingly do it effortless..... What he did there is really impressive....
My dad told me that when he was 10 years ago driving at a empty swedish highway, he saw a black motorcycle go past him at like 300kmh. That was maybe him
Ghost rider will always be the GOAT even if someone breaks the record. Doing massive burnouts in from of the police station, out running cops on one wheelie at 200mph back when RUclips wasn’t over saturated with moto channel’s trying to make a buck. He’s the real deal
