Yes, I have over 600 hours in The Isle, BUT those hours are in the older version of the game called Legacy. In this video, I'm playing the very different new version called Evrima 😁
The tiniest amount of night vision after all that work killed me. ☠️ I always had soooo much fun with The Isle, going back to the Legacy times even. I’ve played this version for quite a while too, but the amount of bugs at that time were too big. I think the game is gorgeous, movement and combat of dinosaurs looks stunning, lighting, quality etc is fantastic. It has giant potential, but for now I’ll stick to PoT and loving that. 😊 Thanks for another great video!!!

Pot is a gamers game and The isle is a pure survival game. I love them both, but they are not the same. Not sure why people compare the two since they are just so different.

I haven't played The Isle in a while - I still have a soft spot for this game. Legacy was just the best thing to come home to after school, lol. I really hope that Evrima can eventually live up to the promises that developers make. 🦕 I'm just glad we have alternative dinosaur games to play and look forward to when it comes to their development - no matter how frustrating it can be 😅
recently started playing and its pretty good. gets a bit stale once u learn a dino really well so when they add more it'll be even better. almost feels like legacy :')

@@DZWK86 I would agree with that statement, but I'd also add casual players. I just don't have the time to grow a dino for hours. With PoT I can hop on a modded server and in the same amount of time it'd take me to grow one dino on the isle, I can grow every dino in PoT if I wanted to lol. I don't have to spend hours grinding every dino I wanna try out. And I like the list menu that PoT has for your dinos too

I haven't touched The Isle since 2018 or so and at this point I'm convinced the developers are just trying to make their game as unfun as possible. I appreciate the sacrifice of time and sanity you're committing for us Grana!
Literally the only objectively bad idea they had for the game was the new camera system and they ended up not going trough with it. But outside of needing the usual fixes to bugs and performance the game is in a really good state at the moment.

The real objective description is "unfinished" or "under development" and the game obviously has way more to it than just looks, it has a variety of complex mechanics, many of them being original ideas that have never been done in dinosaur games before which is the reason why the game has many problems in the first place, hence why none of it's competitors try doing the same, because if they did they'd face the same issues.

I know they removed venom from juvie dilo for balancing reasons but dammit it makes growing a dilo so damn difficult, though I guess it is fair because it is pretty strong once it reaches adulthood, nothing in the game a good dilo player can't solo. 5:25 Also when this happens, biting the body tends to fix it. 21:38 Another advice, NEVER drink there, you WILL be eaten, if you don't wanna bother with leaving the area entirely run down the river for a while so you're at least out of the middle of the hotspot. Because that's the one of the two places where you are guaranteed to find deinos, the other place is the one lake they spawn in.

Personally wouldn’t call TI’s community less toxic than PoT’s, they are essentially the same community, a large portion of PoT’s community originated from TI. i have a love hate relationship w the isle and currently am on a break from it, bc of the many bugs and hard gameplay (honestly got a hard time getting behind the mechanics) but i do wonder if Grana will try other Dino games inbetween the regular pot videos, it would be really fun seeing them play BoB ( Beast of Bermudas) or another Evirma video sometime in the future :D as i really enjoy and laught at the animated jokes and format of funny clips
I play The Isle (Evrima) and PoT. Many people are obssessed with pitting them against each other, but I enjoy both for different reasons. The self imposed rivalry between players that play one over the other is irritating and unnecessary, just have fun! Originally when I tried PoT, I disliked it, but after joining an unofficial server that suited me and giving it another shot, I found the appeal. :)
Love to watch your vids! They always make me happy. BUT RIP, seeing all the deaths and glitches and etc brought back PTSD. The Isle is so unforgiving. I gave up playing the isle ever since they added teno. Path of Titans is just more enjoyable. If you happen to play The Isle again, perhaps try the Legacy version? Not as pretty as Evrima but its the og version and a little more enjoyable.
I adored the isle back in legacy and played it religiously, then all the bullshit and bugs with evirma happened and i switched to pot. I really hope they fix the isle cause i can't play it at all because of lag, bugs, starving or being killed constantly by mixpackers.

The Isle is certainly a different beast from it's Legacy days! Personally I'm not a big fan of PoT, but I'm glad others enjoy it. I'm just not a big fan of how...laid back it is? I actually prefer the more unforgiving nature of The Isle. That being said, The Isle is certainly in an interesting place right now. Lots of bugs to iron out, balance adjustments, features that need to be added, and so on. Apparently they plan on making some of kind of tutorial once the basic features are considered complete, since doing it now would mean they might need to redo them with each major update.
I totally understand your POV! When I first learned that PoT doesn't have permadeath, I hated the idea, and to this day, I don't get the same feeling of survival like in Isle Legacy that I really liked. But on the other hand, I really like how in PoTs fights often last long, and not losing everything on death allows me to try 'stupid' fights more. And I never have to afk😅 I do really hope that someday PoT has more survival elements to make it a little more challenging

i have a love hate relationship w the isle and currently am on a break from it, bc of the many bugs and hard gameplay (honestly got a hard time getting behind the mechanics) but i do wonder if Grana will try other Dino games inbetween the regular pot videos, it would be really fun seeing them play BoB ( Beast of Bermudas) or another Evirma video sometime in the future :D as i really enjoy and laught at the animated jokes and format of funny clips

I'd love to try The Isle again. But the lag and bugs just make it a frustrating experience for me as a casual player

I play The Isle (Evrima) and PoT. Many people are obssessed with pitting them against each other, but I enjoy both for different reasons. The self imposed rivalry between players that play one over the other is irritating and unnecessary, just have fun!
Originally when I tried PoT, I disliked it, but after joining an unofficial server that suited me and giving it another shot, I found the appeal. :)

Love to watch your vids! They always make me happy. BUT RIP, seeing all the deaths and glitches and etc brought back PTSD. The Isle is so unforgiving. I gave up playing the isle ever since they added teno. Path of Titans is just more enjoyable. If you happen to play The Isle again, perhaps try the Legacy version? Not as pretty as Evrima but its the og version and a little more enjoyable.
I adored the isle back in legacy and played it religiously, then all the bullshit and bugs with evirma happened and i switched to pot. I really hope they fix the isle cause i can't play it at all because of lag, bugs, starving or being killed constantly by mixpackers.

I remember when Isle was playable. and fun. i still maintain that it looks visually stunning but gameplay.. big oof. i can even see the game anymore the devs made it so dark. coz F ppl with bad vision, right? gamma used to my solution to just be able to SEE where i was going, not to exploit anything. but cant even do that now. rip Isle.

The Isle is certainly a different beast from it's Legacy days! Personally I'm not a big fan of PoT, but I'm glad others enjoy it. I'm just not a big fan of how...laid back it is? I actually prefer the more unforgiving nature of The Isle. That being said, The Isle is certainly in an interesting place right now. Lots of bugs to iron out, balance adjustments, features that need to be added, and so on. Apparently they plan on making some of kind of tutorial once the basic features are considered complete, since doing it now would mean they might need to redo them with each major update.
I totally understand your POV! When I first learned that PoT doesn't have permadeath, I hated the idea, and to this day, I don't get the same feeling of survival like in Isle Legacy that I really liked. But on the other hand, I really like how in PoTs fights often last long, and not losing everything on death allows me to try 'stupid' fights more. And I never have to afk😅 I do really hope that someday PoT has more survival elements to make it a little more challenging
