You have no idea how happy it makes me that you did all this with a hand drill. Gives me more confidence for installing a scope base on an old Stevens 66b! Good job sir!❤❤❤
I've had my Rock Island TM-22 18" barrel Murica variant for about a month now. I also removed the plastic cap insert in the hand guard, but mine barely moves, maybe 0.5mm of play at best. Probably the fact we don't get the full length hand guard you guys get up north. I was concerned about the single bolt holding it to the "upper receiver" and considered doing the same thing. Good to see you man handled this cleanly with a hand drill.
Just got the same one. Anyone else having issues removing the barrel? The nut was jambed right, managed to get it undone, but the barrel wouldn't come out
Nice job, man!! 👏 😊 Cool rifle also, never heard of this one 😮 looks like a shooter for sure! Did you get snow again? Or was this recorded earlier this year? Thanks for sharing Ryan! 👍 😊
on a personal level, I won't buy a gun made in turkey. But I'm still glad to see you enjoying it. If you're interested in an absolute gem of a low cost and little known rifle, you should try the Diana R22 Carbon. IMO it's an $800 rifle they're selling for 279 and made by GSG in Germany.

Good showing for that rifle and Norma Tac 22, thank you for the video.
The TM-22 and the CCI round work great together. That gun loves the CCI, Try it if you haven't already.
I'll second that! I run CCI Mini Mag 40gr CPRN and shoot similar grouping at 50yds without any of those modifications.
Great job, Ryan! it's solid now. should have maybe come from the factory like that.... Cheers
Yes I believe it should thanks
do you know if the barrel nut is standard AR15 thread pitch?
No sorry I dont
Just got the same one. Anyone else having issues removing the barrel? The nut was jambed right, managed to get it undone, but the barrel wouldn't come out
Mine was very tight also

This was an earlier edit I wasn’t going to release because of the stupid RUclips rules but it could help some guys so I’ll take the hit
Hi Ryan! have you tryed it yet removing the muzzkle brake ? i think it could shoot even better
This could be true. It’s all a balance
What is size screw and thread did you use?
Hey there I used M8x1 flat head machine screws but you can use whatever you can get or like I just had these laying around so that’s what I used.
You took off the part that keeps the barrel from doing that in a previous vid, the vid was something like "remove this peace"
The previous vid I just took it out and found the guard wobbles around so this is the mod vid of how I did it
oooooh that makes a lot more sense, my bad

Thanks I’ll check it out
I’ve never heard of it
Bring a muzzle brake to 1911 of airsoft in to a real 1911 gun see how it good performs 😎
