It’s been almost 10 years and I am still fumed for how WWE mistreated Sting. While it looked like his WWE run was very promising upon his phenomenal debut but unfortunately, much like Bret Hart’s entire WCW run, it was completely sabotaged from the get-go. WWE diverted course and turned their vignettes into a return of the Undertaker who would be interrupted during his grand return by the return of Triple H who himself had been on a sabbatical

True, but this was a year removed from them throwing away Cena vs. Taker by having John getting squashed under the assertion that he wasn’t planning to have to compete. I'm surprised that Taker VS Mankind never happened at WM. Every match they had was gold and it would have been perfect for any Wrestlemania from 13 through to 16. Personally, I think Taker did a great job at getting a good match out of Sid which was no easy task, but when you consider that this was at the height of his feud with Mankind, maybe there could have been a way for them to face off at WM13 instead. Vince was never going to put the belt on Mick at that point, but maybe the belt could have been vacated due to Sid being injured or perhaps Sid could have lost it to Taker at the previous PPV. Or maybe have Taker win the belt from HBK at the Royal Rumble then have Mankind replace Taker in the weird ending of the Royal Rumble match and lead to having him face Taker at WM13. They would face off for the title soon after at Revenge Of The Taker so they could simply move that story line forward a bit. Mankind was Taker's greatest rival and the person with whom he had his best matches so it's a shame that they never got to face off at Wrestlemania.
To be fair, Hell in a Cell created so many complications of raised bars, 'Taker and Mick would've had to have damn near killed each other (again) However, that run of 'Manias from '98 to '02 were literally perfect for a final Mankind vs. Undertaker match, or for an utterly batshit crazy Cactus Jack vs. Undertaker match. Mick wouldn't have even needed to move that much, just hit 'Taker with his normal move-set accentuated by foreign objects in the spots. '01 'Taker that sold a lot would've really shined for Mick's craziest ideas for submission holds using foreign objects

Taker should have taken Hulk Hogan at mania 19, 22 Kurt Angle, 27 Wade Barrett full nexus leader mode, 30 john Cena full length, 31 Sting,32 Rusev full russian blood mode, 33 Dean Ambrose hell in a cell, 34 Seth rollins, 35 scottish psyco drew McIntyre, 36 phenomenal Aj Styles, 37 the fiend, 38 roman Reigns
I think that the Razor-Undertaker match at Wrestlemania IX would have been better. A Foley-Undertaker match at Wrestlemania would have been a let fown after their Hell in a Cell match. A squash match between the Undertaker and Elias would have been great - but people complained about the Cena-Undertaker match (which I thought was the right way to handle the match.) But the Undertaker beating Sting at Wrestlemania XXX would have been better than ending the streak to a part timer.
Honestly Taker could've had possibly amazing classics in his early years it he had the right opponents during that time to work with Taker's slow style at the time. Like how we never had Bret vs Taker at Mania or we could've had Mania 13 Taker vs HBK but again someone lost their smile. Also I know I know that this has already been said like 1000 times already but Taker should've never lost to Brock at Mania 30.
Will always be disappointed that we never had Sting/Taker at Mania…we all bit so hard at that fake Joker poster years before Sting joined WWE, and then when he got there…and we got Sting/HHH instead…ugggh
In the 2002 rumble. Maven wasn’t supposed to eliminate undertaker instead it was a botched attack resulted in takers elimination so if it maven hadn’t fcked it up. And taker eliminated him instead if taker had won we could’ve gotten the rock vs taker match. Which was actually almost foreshadowed before the rumble match began
1 - Sting interferes at Survivor Series 2 - Sting defeats Triple H at the Royal Rumble 3 - The Undertaker defeats Sting at WrestleMania 31 It was right there.
Alternate WM30 opponent for The Undertaker: Bray Wyatt. Wyatt was still undefeated. Why not make him the new final boss of WWE by being the one to out psych The Undertaker and break the streak? Be a better result than Cena and Lesnar getting wins they didn't need.
Triple H and Shane McMahon -1. If You think Two matches are enough vs Undertaker. Triple H not only wrestled him at Mania three times, but LOST all three! And, just about anybody else other than Shane would have been better since Shane left the WWE immediately after.
Well we should all thank Vince McMahon for depriving us Undertaker vs Sting. Every wrestling fan wanted to see that dream match happen but unfortunately Vince didn’t want it. Thank GOD that man isn’t around anymore 💯👍🏾
Despite Hulk hogan, Mick Foley, the Rock, Kurt Angle, and of course Sting being on this list, here's mine anyway. What about Stone Cold Steve Austin!? I mean him and rock did have three Gary wrestlemania matches at 1517 and 19 but in between any one of those they could have faced off at one point in time
The Rock Finn Baylor Dean Ambrose Roddy Piper Sting Vampiro Jeff Hardy Scott hall Hulk Hogan Kurt Angle P.s John Cena I would have put for an actual match but it was a 3mim so it counts lol
Agree on: Dusty at VII, Jeff Hardy at XIX, Razor at IX, Vader at XIII, Mankind at XV. Disagree on: Elias at 35 (Taker vs KO works more for me), Kama at XI (rather have Taker vs DiBiase as the latter's official final match), Hogan at VIII (Taker being the first to defeat Piper by pinfall clean looks and sounds a lot better, Bret and Jake would have been my IC Title match) and Sting at 31 (Taker vs Ambrose sounds better) Dream scenarios: Taker vs Bray at XXX (Taker never faces Lesnar and The Streak is still alive), Taker vs Sting at 32 (instead of Shane), Taker vs Cena for the WWE Title at 33, Taker vs Braun or Elias at 34 (probably Elias, don't want to kill Braun's momentum at the time any further by losing), Taker vs Aleister Black at 37 (2 year Spiritual level Master vs Apprentice storyline comes to a culmination) and Taker vs Tribal Chief Roman at 38 for the Title (Roman defeats Taker, breaks The Streak and Taker retires in Texas).
FWIW Ted couldn’t wrestle by 95. When he first left the WWF in the fall of 93 he was working in Japan (I believe AJPW but I may be wrong), and he injured his back. The corporation was an on screen way to avoid him having to wrestle because his body couldn’t handle it at that point.
@@gabepollock1641 Yeah, I didn't express myself well in that one, should have put it as a dream type of scenario, but you can't disregard the fact that a lot of cool storyline options could have been executed with Taker wrestling and retiring the guy who introduced him to WWE fans in kayfabe, his menthor so to speak.
Haven’t watched yet, but #1 should be The Undertaker from another WWE Universe To hell with Career Vs. Streak, we need Streak vs. Streak and Reality Vs. Reality.

A-Train, Big Boss Man, Giant Gonzalez? Austin, Cena, Rock, Jericho, Guerrero, Daniel Bryan and Rey should have faced him instead of those other bozos forgotten to history.

Kama VS Taker happened at several In Your House shows and it was never that great of a match. If I were to pick someone from Ted's group to face Taker though, I'd probably go with Tatanka.
Not getting Sting up against Taker HURTS. We could've had someone who wasn't a complete douche end the streak, and it could've legitimized his wins over Hogan. As a bonus, Sting could've been his more colorful classic self for that match only. But I guess one never just _plays_ the Big Bad of one's wrestling outfit if they want to make that ""role"" work, so f••• us.

A squash match between the Undertaker and Elias would have been great - but people complained about the Cena-Undertaker match (which I thought was the right way to handle the match.)
But the Undertaker beating Sting at Wrestlemania XXX would have been better than ending the streak to a part timer.
As much as I love Taker, Bret Hart is my all time favorite wrestler and i wouldn't trade him vs Austin at WM13 for any alternative match.
Vs. Chris Jericho at Wrestlemania 18.
Bryan Danielson
The Rock
John Cena (PROPERLY)
Sting
Bret Hart
Drew Mcyntyre
Apparently Bryan was supposed to face Taker at Mania 30 but Punk left
McIntyre could've happened at Mania 35 honestly or Mania 36
@@zanethind agreed. Should have been Roman beating Ambrouse and him leaving WWE and Mcyntyre beating Undertaker
@@liamhemstock2286 yeah although you mean Ambrose leaving WWE?
@@zanethind yes of course don’t worry 😂😂. I wouldn’t change Moxley’s run at all
In the 2002 rumble.
My 10 picks would be
Sting
Mankind
Bret hart
The Rock
Stone Cold
Hulk Hogan
Chris Jericho
Kurt Angle
Eddie Guerrero
Vader
Easier said in hindsight
Pretty easily said at the time, too.
I loved Taker's match with Batista at WM23, but it should have been Cena. Both of them in their prime
1 - Sting interferes at Survivor Series
2 - Sting defeats Triple H at the Royal Rumble
3 - The Undertaker defeats Sting at WrestleMania 31
It was right there.
Undertaker vs. Golddust
Bam Bam Bigelow at WM 9, Kurt Angle WM 22, Sting at WM 27 or 31
Well we should all thank Vince McMahon for depriving us Undertaker vs Sting.
Goldberg at wrestlemania 20
Bret Hart at wrestlemania 11
Stone cold at wrestlemania 13
Chris Jericho at wrestlemania 19
Ultimate warrior at wrestlemania 5
Randy Savage at wrestlemania 7
Seth Rollins at wrestlemania 32
Rey Mysterio at wrestlemania 24
Jbl at wrestlemania 22
Demon Finn Baylor at wrestlemania 33
Sucks that by the time taker was ready to go for 31, the triple h - Sting ball was already rolling and it was too late to back out of it by then.
What about Stone Cold Steve Austin!? I mean him and rock did have three Gary wrestlemania matches at 1517 and 19 but in between any one of those they could have faced off at one point in time
I think we could've had Rock vs Undertaker at Wrestlemania 32. Think about it they both wrestled on that night and they had crap opponents
The Rock
Finn Baylor
Dean Ambrose
Roddy Piper
Sting
Vampiro
Jeff Hardy
Scott hall
Hulk Hogan
Kurt Angle
P.s John Cena I would have put for an actual match but it was a 3mim so it counts lol
Ambrose would’ve sucked
Vampiro? lol
Crazy triple h faced him 3 times
Austin vs Undertaker at 16 woudve been dope if they weren’t out on injury, streak wasn’t a thing yet at that time tho
The Granddaddy of them all was Starrcade.
Vader-Yokozuna-BretHart-Sting-Mankind-BokerT-JBL-Goldberg-Rock-Austin.. My list is Better.. 😆
Agree on: Dusty at VII, Jeff Hardy at XIX, Razor at IX, Vader at XIII, Mankind at XV.
Disagree on: Elias at 35 (Taker vs KO works more for me), Kama at XI (rather have Taker vs DiBiase as the latter's official final match), Hogan at VIII (Taker being the first to defeat Piper by pinfall clean looks and sounds a lot better, Bret and Jake would have been my IC Title match) and Sting at 31 (Taker vs Ambrose sounds better)
Dream scenarios: Taker vs Bray at XXX (Taker never faces Lesnar and The Streak is still alive), Taker vs Sting at 32 (instead of Shane), Taker vs Cena for the WWE Title at 33, Taker vs Braun or Elias at 34 (probably Elias, don't want to kill Braun's momentum at the time any further by losing), Taker vs Aleister Black at 37 (2 year Spiritual level Master vs Apprentice storyline comes to a culmination) and Taker vs Tribal Chief Roman at 38 for the Title (Roman defeats Taker, breaks The Streak and Taker retires in Texas).
Haven’t watched yet, but #1 should be The Undertaker from another WWE Universe
To hell with Career Vs. Streak, we need Streak vs. Streak and Reality Vs. Reality.
It wasn't at Wrestlemania, but we've already seen Rock vs Undertaker.
Seth Rollins?
Drew vs taker could've been a banger ❤
Even tho Punk & Taker had a great match at WM 29, I forever stand on the idea of adding Punk to the main event, and doing Taker vs Jericho
It was way better than the rock vs cena match
Mike Awesome vs Undertaker would have been great
Obviously Sting vs taker was everybody's dream match mine too, but i feel like wwe could have made two more matches , taker vs stone cold and taker vs rock, none of these ever happened at mania, both matches would have made huge draw and ratings.
Rock vs Undertaker was discussed at wrestlemania 29
good video
For Nathan jones they should have used his past in a story line the dude was on Australia’s most wanted and broke the prison cell door
Undertaker could have faced Kurt Angle or Chris Benoit at WrestleMania 2006.
The Snuka and Giant Gonzalez matches were the worst with Taker vs Big Show & A-Train when Jokes couldn’t be trusted to do more than a big boot. Definitely could’ve done better at the booking table than those 3 matches
Thanks 🎉
I disagree with WM19. The botch was making it a tag match, it should have just been Taker vs Big Show in a singles
The streak should have had better opponents. Until Edge, they were pretty much all midcarders. It would have been way more prestigious if he beat main eventers every year. A-Train, Big Boss Man, Giant Gonzalez?
Austin, Cena, Rock, Jericho, Guerrero, Daniel Bryan and Rey should have faced him instead of those other bozos forgotten to history.
Streak NEVER should have been broken!!
Ricky steamboat wm 9
Yokozuna wm 10
razor Ramon wm 12
Austin wm 16
Hollywood rock wm 19
Eddie Guerrero wm 22
John Cena wm 30
Seth Rollins wm 32
*Remembers Giant Gonzalez match*
😑😑
unpopular opinion Undertaker didn't need to fight the same people he beat at Wrestlemania back to back (HHH-HBK) 🤷🏾
Mordecai better be in the list
Undertaker vs
1. Sting
2. Umaga
3. The Fiend
4. Samoa Joe
5. Boogeyman
6. Alister black
7. Mordecai
8. karrion Kross
9. Omos
10. Braun strowman
11. Boogeyman 😂😂
Just to name a few people that should've/could've faced undertaker at WrestleMania
Sting
What is "problematic" about Snuka being the first guy of Taker's streak?
Kama VS Taker happened at several In Your House shows and it was never that great of a match. If I were to pick someone from Ted's group to face Taker though, I'd probably go with Tatanka.
Why was Superfly problematic?
He murdered someone.
pretty sure he supposedly killed someone.
Love you Cultaholic but don’t be pretending the casket match at WM22 wasn’t far better than it should’ve been. That match rules.
