What happened to the pre round interviews to get a look into the story of the new players to jomez lead cards? I always felt like that was such a nice way to get a better understanding for the players personalities and history. Great coverage as always 👍

Watching Presnell in round 3 and now in this final, damn he shreds with those drones. I just imagine he has a bag full of them. He could probably just carry around a small satchel with his drones and a putter for this tournament.

Playing basically two round of Northwood black, then getting two rounds of commentary done same day. Good job to the whole team. All of you deserve more credit than you get IMHO. Just wanted to say the disc golf world does appreciate it.
Uli gives the best throw/disc selection and course knowlege breakdowns. Great announcer. Your great too Jerm. However, Jerm, you failed to identify the American Robins singing from the tree tops during the round 😮

I love the production! If I could just add one bit of advice that I'd like Jomez to pass on to BigBarri: please let the mic breathe until the shot is done!! Everything about the production is amazing except for the fact the commentators don't stop yapping, guessing where the disc is and getting it wrong, etc... here's an example: 25:36 They already add so much to the sport & production, it just pains me to hear this take away from the enjoyment of it from people like me & others who have shared the same complaints in the comment sections.

I love this sport so much. Even at the height of a Major championship when Presnell lost his putter, Anttila and Anderson show sympathy and try to help him find his putter.
This sport is beautiful.
Rule says that all the players in the card must participate searching for a disc. If player doesn't participate, it is a courtesy violation and the result is one penalty stroke for each violation. If that is repeated multiple times, player can be disqualified.
Even people without sympathy do it because they sort of must do it. Unfortunately not all players do that even if they face a courtesy violation. There is very rarely anyone penalizing them so some people don't care.
Niklas is a nice guy anyway. Don't know these other guys at all.
Disc golfing with binos is a great opportunity to do some birding. Other players ask me what this or that bird is during our play. Usually a buzzard or blue bird 😂

Kaxe Z is a tweener between FD and mid with good stability but never dumpy OS. Solid candidate for woods workhorse disc. I have a couple.
Kaxe Z from the new mold and less stable than the old runs. New Z's are basically straight. I am bagging two first runs and have one a bit domier one as a back-up That is quite old run as well. Don't know what I do after I lose those or thei beat-in. Might have to start throwing more fairways or see if I can find some newer ones. Even new Kaxe feels less stable than old Z.
Come on guys, we need to see a replay of Presnell’s missed OB putt on hole five. You all do a great job so I’m sorry to be critical but that miss seems like a pivotal moment. At least do a no-mez.
Can you not take your shoes off? Or bring rain boot slip on covers?

Joseph's spit out on 9 was actually a common occurrence. I was sitting under those blue tents and about 1 every 2-3 cards over the course of the tournament spat out.
You would think these pros would bring an extra pair of socks and shoes to these more muddy and wet courses just in case. It would make a lot of sense and allow them not to worry about playing thru wet feet.

My friend threw my K1 Kaxe Z into the river and I've never cared less. One of the most bewildering flight characteristics of any disc I've ever owned

I hope he can use a backup putter. I have heard that you aren’t allowed to introduce a new disc to your bag after you have started a round? Anyone? I have done this myself and that’s where I was told but can’t find any information in pdga rules
You have heard wrong. You can go put new discs to your bag at any time.

It’s really funny how shocking Presnell’s putt on 5 is but if it happened on FPO coverage no one would be surprised and every excuse in the book would be made by the commentators for why it happened 😂

Why don't players ever take their shoes and socks off when there is casual water?
Rules say that you can't play barefoot. Have to wear at least sandals. Also a bit quick thing if player has 30 seconds time to throw to take shoes and socks of, but rule states that can't play barefoot.
Hi Jomez is there any reason to have the players in the title of the video? It spoils who made to final round lead card when you glance at the videos.
I have to intentionally blur my eyes in order not to read the names.

@@kingchuckfinley When I go to click on Round 3, if Final Round is already posted I can see who's on the lead card. Google AI recommendation is getting better but it may still accidentally recommend a round ahead of what I have watched! :)

because there can be water on the course that is casual, typically small streams or ditches that occasionally hold water.
Ezra you gotta take your time with those shorter putts. Who do you think you are?? Although...it might be you trying to putt before any intrusive thoughts take over to mess you up which I would respond by saying, that sucks.

Not a rule in disc golf, probably because there is no max disc rule like there is in golf. Also, there are now certain circumstances where you can replace a broken club during a round, depending on how it became broken.

When none of the top 10 ranked players are on the lead card in the final round of a major championship there's something seriously wrong with the course.
Just because most of the courses are open crusher courses doesn't mean touch, angles, shaping and accuracy shouldn't be rewarded at least in some events...
@@PeteEH Absolutely agree but maybe not this particular course and this event. A course can reward accuracy and shop shaping without making luck a significant factor.
These guys are the future of disc golf. They can compete with the best. Just wait and see!
These are the stupid takes I come to the comments for. Northwood black is the best course on tour and should host a major every year. Niklas is 11th in the world rankings and definitely top 10 this year. And (spoiler) the final standings for this tournament will have most of the top ranked players in the top 10. Northwood Black has something wrong with it, lmao
