- We install an EFR 7670 turbo with twin wastes gate for our Northern Ireland dealer, Steve of SBRemaps' Astra H VXR and try to complete the installation and dyno tune it within 3 days.
Can we finish it in time? Lets hope so as the ferry is waiting!

I like the way you spend the time to tune and explain it. I have a project on the go at the moment with a AH Astra 2007 in Australia, not many people tune these cars here (not popular like over there) I would like to know if i gave you the heads up on my car would you be able to help with a map so i can run it in before the dyno time ?

You doing a really thorough job, nice to see. I saw your post on FB about the MAF sensor. When do want to increase the size of the MAF housing, let's say to 90mm? And do you need to make changes in the ECU because of the differnce in flow and pressure?
Yes you have to scale the voltage or frequency output of the ECU to the air flow amounts.
Hi i have Link ECU G4x monsoon on the stock turbo but forged internals stroker, i triad to get some Anti lag flames and did it but not big how can i tuned it to make more ALS flames ?

hi, my astra h gtc z20ler car has K04 turbo and the software has been upgraded. injector and exhaust standard version. I get the code ecn110611 at rev high. Do you have an idea for a solution? can you help me?

I’m in the process of building my gtx3076r burg. What would you recommend over a klassen or eds ? And what injector size ?
Eds for big turbos
630cc for up to 430hp
875cc for up to 530hp
1000cc avoid unless going over 550hp they do not fit like factory and require adaption. If done wrong will cause bad spray patterns to fire risks if adapted badly.
Beast of a vxr.. I would love to get mine to 400bhp but just same as everything in life dollar dollar dollar lol
Just 400hp can be done with simpler setups.
@@tunedbyrabbid what do you advice to change when you want it up to 400hp. Which turbo, 3 or 3,5 inch exhaust, other intake manifold? Not possible on stock internals?

@@tunedbyrabbid thanks mate. Do you have to change something in the ecu when you increase the diameter of the maf sensor piping. Pressure will be higher en V lower.
Yes the whole MAF has to be recalibrated otherwise serious engine damage will occur.

Had a boost problem on mine for years. So put her to bed two years ago. One keeper, 30.000 miles std appart from remus fitted by Vauxhall, 57plate Arden. Now my daily is a Corsa VXRacing No. 208 also think it's over boosting🙄. I know nothing about the car. Have you ever came across No. 208....or maybe know anything about the tune?
Not that I know of but we offer a dyno health check service to help with issues like this.

Was the engine forged? What was exactly done and how many horses does he have? What I need for 300hp Z20LEH?
300HP just needs a 3" exhaust and intercooler maybe an intake and a proper remap.
Surely there's something holding this back, an EFR 7670 shouldn't be choking at those power levels. Why is the torque falling off so hard and power not rising from mid to high range?
Indeed another car we've done with the same turbo managed 530HP, Steves made some changes but given Covid issues not been able to get back over from Ireland.

Dale Gillan he wouldn’t be banging that limiter on the dyno more than about 3 times if it wasn’t forged 😂
For this level of power its a built engine, banging the limiter isn't going to matter forged or not.
Most likely from limiter banging too much, especially hard cut limits is they unload the valve colletts or on shimmed valves can lead to shims jumping out or even valves dropping out.
When a valve drops forged or not, it makes a mess!

Nope rarely actually wedge any of them.
Power wont break a water way.
Excessive torque or subjecting the car to detonation will do.

when are you guys planning to reopen? i need my car looking at im having boost control circuit failure issues p110656, ive changed my boost control valve, recirculation valve and MAP sensor and still no luck

Awesome videos, amazing knowledge!! This makes me miss my vxr so much, which you mapped a few years ago 327hp on a stage 3.5 and that was an absolute weopon on the road, so I can only imagine what this turbo set up is like👌

@@tunedbyrabbid if I was to ever get another it'll be nurburgring and keep it as original as possible, as I had one at the time you mapped my arden but sold the burg for an gtc vxr, big mistake lol but I'm currently in the process of trading in my mk7 golf r for a mk2 focus rs so might be I touch next year for some mapping on that 👍

Did the engine management light not show for the boost control solenoid
No it would only show for open circuit, the solenoid itself cannot tell if its operating properly as long as the coil inside makes a proper electrical connection.

I need a few things doing like stem seals. Brakes add a cross over delete and a couple of other bits not Notting major. And a remap. poly bushes all round and window Deflectors. Also I have a new turbo to go on but I can not find an exhaust manifold for it its a t3t4 any chance you can help 🤷🏻♂️ I love this car and would like to keep her.
