Kaiser Knuckle (and it’s update, Dan-Ku-Ga) has always been a favorite of mine. Fun and interesting gameplay, gorgeous visuals, and an amazing soundtrack from Zuntata.
My generation really played arcade fighting games ported to home consoles. Kinda hard to care when even the good ones eventually got a scaled-down release that sold well anyway. That's just me though. Nice video.

I have some of this fighting games on MAME, I love to play some in time to time. Odd you didn't mention Kabuki Clash, Waku Waku 7 or Breakers Revenge Galaxy Fight in time to time reappears in art forums because of Roomi, she might have "big" reasons to still be remembered...
An interesting compilation of lesser-known fighting games. My take on the following games: Global Champion (Kaiser Knuckle): Unbalanced, SNK-level cheap bosses. Gowcaizer: Mostly fanservice. Aggressors of Dark Kombat: Hard to pull off finishers. Galaxy Fight: Balance issues. Ashura Blade: Overlooked & untranslated. Survival Arts: Monkey Poo. Too bad you forgot about Waku Waku 7.
I played dark edge it tripped me out. I couldn’t remember the name of it and thought it was just a fever dream from my then 10 year old brain, thank you lol! Ehergeiz was the best btw lol
Dark Edge 1:00 yes this is not popular during its release! When I saw this fighting game in the arcade not knowing SEGA was the one who programmed this, I never saw anyone play this game not even I attempted to play Dark Edge! But during the time when I still see this arcade fighting game, I think it is good and unique that your characters can move in a different direction unlike your normal 2D Fighting that you can only move right or left and jump upwards.
Really cool video, and collection of games! Keep it up. My only criticism is that I wish you let a small amount of space between games, breathing room so to speak. It felt a little too hectic during the transitions. I only mention this because I truly believe, aside from that detail, you're making really good content and would like to see you improve. Cheers!

memory unlocked; i beaten Ehrgeiz in the arcades decades ago with one quarter in one go. It felt like a demo.
