I like crimson. Good tip on trying new things and getting color palettes you wouldn’t have thought of otherwise. Beautiful piece!!! The crimson is perfect on there
Fiona! Thank you so much, I appreciate you stopping by to watch. 🙂 Yes, I seem to rely on my tilts a little too often. One day I’ll learn to mix more paint than I need. Thanks for the inspiration!
This is absolutely gorgeous tony the crimson and blue combo is perfect,I’m definitely a big fan of crimson, blue, purple and turquoise they are my go to combo that I just love using and I just have to say my favourite colour that I always add in is magenta,so crimson is very close to that
Thanks Cheryl, I appreciate that great feedback and I love your colors too! I'm a big purple and blue fan, and I would have to think that 80% or more of my pours have one of the two in them lol Thanks for watching!
@@tonysfluidart I have to agree with you all my painting always have a pink ,purple, blue or blue in them I really love these colours but I have always just loved purple it’s such a relaxing colour to me

@@CherylCampbell-fx1yb That’s super kind of you, thank you! Let me know how things turn out, I really love this combination. Simple, but with a nice finish!

@@debbiekeay181 That’s very kind of you, thanks Debbie! I can’t say I’ve ever used orange in any paintings I’ve made lol I’ve tried pink a few times but never orange. Thanks for the kind words and for watching as well!
Love it Tony. I prefer crimson over red. I have these Liquitex colors. I’m apprehensive about wrecking something and then doing a swipe out over it. I would have done the fork and then stretched paints cuz iI’m afraid I will seriously mess up. Hopefully you’ve give. The push I needed thanks. What was the size canvas and how my total paint so it covered the canvas without a base coat. That is another stumbling block for me. Keep creating love your work!
Thank you so much, Jan! I say go for it, lol I'm always veru mindful when I swipe through a wreck which color I swipe through first figuring it will be the dominant color. I trust the swipe will do what it should (most of the time) and create a nice blend of color too. The canvas was 12" x 24" and I mixed about 18 or 19oz of paint- it needs about 15oz to cover the canvas. I also used floetrol and artist loft PM- 70% pm, 30% floetrol.
I just came across 6 cute buckets, 1 L size which was in an un opened box from March! It's a long story could you tell me please how to mix MEEDEN paints? Iv never used them before.
@@janetbenteau3488 Hi Janet! If I remember right I mixed 1oz paint to about 2 or 3oz of pouring medium to a smooth consistency and I poured away. What kind of pouring medium do you use?
Hi Suzanne! I use 2 parts Australian floetrol, 1 part titanium white acrylic for the swipes. It seems to keep my lacing together a little better with a tad more paint added. Hope that helps and thanks for watching! 🙂

I appreciate it thank you!
I wasn't super crazy about the color combo ar first, but as you kept tilting and the crimson became more pronounced I fell in love with it. ❤
Thanks CJ! Yes, I always trust some of the color I’d hope would be a focal point ends up where I had hoped. I’m glad you like it!
Great! ❤

This turned out great! Fionna is a master at swipes. I think you did her justice. Cory is more of a fan of Crimson and I'm (Adrian) a fan of red.

Your colour choices to me, always work. Personally I have a problem using any shade of orange for whatever reason. Any suggestions?

What is your swipe ratio? I mixed 4:1 of Floe/paint and although it worked, it didn't quite work as I was expecting.
