Thanks so much Peter. We are so glad your enjoying our videos of our crazy adventures and really appreciate you taking the time to say so. It means a lot to us. Cheers R & K
I heard a yacht motor into a submerged rock while fishing nearby in our tender. What a racket! All sounds you would never want to hear from your yacht. I think a full keel old school build like yours, they didn't seem too concerned. Glad you got off wiser and not too battered.
Recently found & subscribed to your channel. Love the authenticity. I’m on a cat, on the way to Indo (surfed/traveled throughout the past 35 years). Thanks for the great intel re SAS Planet etc. Fair winds. Ken. SV Kitten.
Thanks for subbing. Glad you found the SAS info useful. We totally rely on it now. Also a big thanks for taking the time to comment. We really appreciate it. Cheers!
Thanks Trev. We truly love Our Dreamtime. She may be middle aged, but she is such a strong and elegant lady that carries us to new adventures and keeps us safe. Cheers R & K
Thanks so much for taking the time to comment. It's much appreciated. We put our miss-adventure down as another learning experience and move on. Cheers R & K
Hi guys, wow, all I can say is how fortunate is that you were not on a modern Bene or Jenneau, good boats but I suspect, no, I know they would have had severe damage from hitting the reef rather than just some antifoul missing.
Thanks so much for commenting. We really appreciate it. When sailing off the beaten track there is a lot to be said for having an old school, very solid, full keel boat like SV Our Dreamtime. We chose her for her liveability and strength and she has looked after us very, very well. That's why we love her. Cheers R & K.
What a complete joke. They use words like “nightmare” and “disaster”, and in the end all they did was scrape a small bit of bottom paint off. Drama queens! If they cannot honestly vlog about their travels, I won’t watch, and encourage others to do the same.
David thanks for your insightful comment. Our close call happened in a very remote area of Indonesia. In the conditions at the time, our boat could have very easily been pushed right up on the reef where it would quite probably have been lost . Unless you have ever been in that situation, you have no idea what you’re talking about.

Full keels have their advantages but it's certainly not a noise we ever want to hear again that's for sure. Thanks for watching. Cheers R & K
Karen, should have been at the helm from the start😲🤣💯🇦🇺 so glad Dreamtime is still Dreaming!!!!!
Thanks! I reckon you’re right. She did an awesome job. Cheers - Rob
So pleased there was no damage other than the anti foul. Loving watching your journey 🤗

Wow, thanks guys, + thanks Dreamtime for being a tank when required, not too many new production boats that would take that impact….
Thanks Trev. We truly love Our Dreamtime. She may be middle aged, but she is such a strong and elegant lady that carries us to new adventures and keeps us safe. Cheers R & K
