  • In this video, we look at a really effective method of allowing giving users of your web components extreme flexibility through the use of template tag overrides.

    This was brutally awesome. This video is for hard core web component developers. Assume we have 1 million web developers in the world. 100 thousand have heard about custom elements and custom events. 10 thousand of them is capable of using web components. 1000 is capable of making web components. This might change since custom elements now are part of every browsers working brilliantly. On the other hand the big frameworks brought the community over to their own proprietary (religious) camps and they intentionally shielding the community from understanding browser technologies. I checked out your pfelements and pfe-components package, and looks awesome. Interesting that you don't use Lit.

      Hey thank you Miklos! Yes, is definitely an advanced technique with Web Components and probably something suited for components that are in a design system. Funny enough, we are in the process of moving to Lit for Patternfly Elements. We've found that Lit is the happy medium for creating a great developer experience without having to buy into an opinionated framework.
