SM really gave us a strong social commentary with this episode. Each of the girls really represents a different negative.
Karina- who you are on social media vs who you are in real life, being afraid of how people will perceive you in real life, being “perfect” online
Giselle- invasion of privacy, too much paparazzi/attention, saesangs/impersonators
Winter- rumors, false claims, whispers behind her back
NingNing- hate comments, malicious online trolls, evil keyboard warriors

also there was a fan theory that most of these issues were experienced by the girls themselves. like with karina, shes wearing a school uniform there bc during her predebut, she faced a lot of hate and pressure to be perfect.
winter - ppl keep saying shes snob, talentless (bc no main position), just a pretty face etc.
@@raffy9629 actually in pre debut winter was the only one who didn't have any rumors, but Karina and Giselle had a lot of them, the hate comments they received in pan/naver and other korean forums were gathering 1k likes and more, Ningning suffered a lot because of the Sinophobia and she is still suffering, people were commenting to only stan Winter because she was "clean" meaning she didn't had any rumors and because she is korean that's why she was the only one ranking in the brand reputation at that time also that the majority of cmys and kmys were the ones spreading those ugly rumors about the other members.

You have to remember that’s why next level is so different. Like there’s a lot of beat changes. Because they’re in kwangya. Naevis said it’s always changing therefore the song goes in different genres, but it’s still the same song. 👉🏼

aespa's concept is so fun. It's so interesting following their lore every comeback. And you guys are so cute reacting to them for the first time. Love the genuine reactions. I wish I can watch these videos of aespa again like it's my first time.
You two have it so good since you're getting into them after all 3 episodes (of season 1) have been released. it was absolute TORTURE waiting for these episodes to come out back then lol. had to wait over a year between eps 1 and 2 T_T
but you can't deny how well produced these episodes are like it's genuinely so much work.
@@slaystinn oh yeah for sure. aespa's concept is super ambitious for a kpop group, and i would say production quality is very very crucial to its success and reception. def not saying I'd rather have them rushed

Yes, and they first revealed those names for their roles/powers in the song "Aenergy" on the Savage album. All the songs on that album were top tier and worth checking out!
MY World is actually Season 2. aespa was planned to do 3 seasons of their lore and each season has 3 episodes. This was shared and revealed during their predebut/debut interviews through SM Entertainment. Season 1 (Black Mamba), Season 2 (MY World), Season 3 (yet to be released). FYI, we had to wait for almost a year for every episodes, so you've been warned.

Smcu is crucial to understanding aespa's music mv and lyrics. People would really love and understand them well if they just bothered to watch this. I swear the lore is pretty simple if you watch these. Plus they are so fun and cool. Like mini movies

Aespa have the best lore
Thanks so much for the aespa content! I've been a fan/follower since Black Mamba, but I never really got the lore. As you guys go through it, I'm starting to understand the story a lot better. Thanks for that! (And your puppy is adorable! The black/white/gold coat.... That doggy could be a star!)

just wanted to mention, as idk if you've noticed. in the beginning of each episode, it says powered by CAWMEN (= Cartoon Animation Webtoon Motion graphics Avatar Novel) and that is why you see so many styles being used in aespa's content. i thought it was so cool how they combined all these styles.
also, for each of the girl's weapons/power, their song 'aenergy' clearly mentions it.

antis keeps using the animation to mock aespa and SM, saying that the quality lacks compared to marvel, disney, pixar etc without using their logic and brain. SM didn't use those kind of big production company to create them, they hired people who already acknowledged in their field. meanwhile use their own resources and hired people with less experiences or just starting out so they'd get the experiences they needed for their portfolio.
