I discovered Baurenmöbel on my first trip to Munich in 1986 and bought a book of furniture. We don’t have anything like it here. It is so nice to see you restoring the old pieces. Thank you for sharing not only the furniture but also your skill.

In particular I love wood sculptures from the Bavarian School, from the Gothic, to the late 19th Century. I used to repair antiques many years ago, seeing you and others repairing antiques as hobby, or work, makes me happy believing there's still a future for old furniture. Ich selbst habe letztens eine Bauertruhe um etwa 1830 restauriert, deren Bemalungen und Bauweise im Übrigen, dem antiken Bauernschrank aus einem Ihrer anderen Videos sehr ähneln! Was mich an diesem Video hier fasziniert hat, ist dass das hier verbaute Schloss quasi identisch zu dem meiner Truhe zu sein scheint! Leider ist der Originalschlüssel meiner Truhe allerdings abhanden gekommen und ich konnte nirgends einen Rohling mit passender Bartlänge finden, um einen nachzumachen. Wissen Sie womöglich wo ich einen derartigen Schlüssel finden könnte? Mit besten Grüßen und herzlichen Glückwunsch für die tolle Arbeit L.S.
