- Today, we analyze one of the 2 previews made by the owner of Block tales:
UnknownNamedGuy, who showed footage of him showing items that most propably will be in the next update.

I was shocked when it was released cuz i didnt excpect it so soon
Alsooooo, a little unrelated but, the game isn't entirely complete, unknowguy said that (iirc) the first 2 chapters were already made ever since preview 2 but they still needed testing and other changes, chapters 3-4 needed polishing, 5-6 needed to be completed and 7-8 still have to be worked on.

title is misleading, the dev did not leak his own game, it's called "Block tales **Preview** for a reason.

They definitely will add deep focus cause theres some swords who use 2 sword energy

@@ishaqedrees5849 i don't know how but the wiki predicted everything from the chapter 2 and they have info abt all the swords in the game so, better to trust them than guess by yourself.

@@Idrisroblox_dev too good for 4 nrg, chp 7 and 8 are still on development and the scripting isn't half done, that's why we only see 4 nrg bars at the leaks. Also, the ilumina sword will increase the dmg dealt by the whole party by a 50% for 5 turns which is insane.
I think theyve already mapped out the new areas enemies and items but are still modeling/polishing them
somehow we still found out how to get speed dash without the groundpound lmao
For people who couldn't read
Deep focus:
*+ more sword energy when using focus*
When using focus, charges Sword Energy more than usual.
Anchor:
*+ Heal party's hp by 8 when fainting*
Fainting heals your party.
Aggressor:
*+1 attack*
*- double damage taken*
Increase attack by 1 but take double damage.
Anchor would be op with resurrect
I watched the previews before the game was made and was very happy when it finally released
0:55 Maybe Lantern are for dark areas and ghost while ghost potion just makes u drink it and become a ghost to phase through walls
Anchor might be the funniest card conceptually
The blocktales previews were the reason why I know the game exist I was hype for the release of blocktales because of the previews looked cool
The anchor card could probably stun, and deep focus, like paper mario 64, would give you more sword power when focusing

The ghost potion probably lets you go through walls while the lantern allows you to see through the dark

I'll clear some things up that weren't said in the video: Lantern is aparently scrapped, this is FROM the owner's channel, and lastly, i do not support leaking, im poiting out what was in the previews posted by unknownnamedguy (owner).
Not only did the lantern get scrapped, but the ghost potion also got scrapped

I HAVE another theory
Lantern is self explanatory, its just lights up dark places
Ghost potion makes you a ghost for a short period of time (i think) so you cant be detected by enemy OR phased through certain walls
I thing in demo3/chapter3 we gonna get hyper ball and ghost potion and lantern and ghost sword
And also i thing ghost potion gonna be like some sort of reviving or instant killing
And lantern is for dark place or smth

The ghost potion and lantern is for demo 3. Its because this theme going to be a ghost. Hyperball is for demo 4. Because its going to having a boat structure
Lantern is scrapped but it does a random effect to an enemy
I see the ghost potion on my save icon
Superball with the weapon jump when throw at air give an high hit down ground throw. The chapter 1, hide of card are really need strong weapon to slam down ground can get down. I guess chapter 3 will be get new 2 card often and weapon ball and new sword the height card ghostwalker
Fun fact: (spoilers)
The lantern in battle is seen to act very similar to the dynamite and cause status effects on enemys
The ghost potion is for attacks that you cant dodge (?)
What font do you use?
I knew getting hyperball would lead us to be able to break the planks on top of the speedy spin card

Agressor is a hidden drop from bosses
Anchor is going to be part of Demo 4 mostly.

It has been changed to specifically drop from the demo 4 boss sadly
the game is most likely not finished, but most gameplay mechanics might be, the story might not be finished, all dialoges are not finished, all locations are not finished, enemy designs, animations, soundtracks.
there wouldnt be a reason to hold off the release of the chapters. (other than hype i guess)
So we probably will get 3 new items in demo 3:
Hyperball
Ghostwalker (sword of the chapter)
Ghost Potion
These arent leaked also
Its a PREVIEW
Most of the game was semi worked on before release
Hence explaining why were getting amazing updates earlier than expected
It was made on purpose, they would spend this much time in the menus if it was otherwise

ive had like a whole spoilers list 1 month ago and what swords 2-4 do, and theres already a leaked video in youtube which i have
Sword 3 Harder to hit (defense +1 for 3 turns more likely) 2 nrg ghostwalker
Sword 4 (same as vemomshank but one more DMG and burns and lowers the atk for 6 turns (of enemies), more of so likely nerfed in chapter 4) firebrand 2 nrg
Remember the chapter 3 badges have already been added
we don't even know if the potion and lantern are confirmed to come next
from as far as i know most of these are most likely never coming out or gonna appear after chapter 3

I hate this clickbait...I will just say this first, those are previews, the game was still in its early stages and a few of the chapters already planned, those cards and the hyperball in the preview might get a rework or be just obtainable in a possible Demo 3, Its not a leak, if you didnt play paper mario, it was a common thing to get upgraded versions of your normal weapons, block tales is no exception
