Hey Jason, the next quarter after show should have a "what's in Doug's bag" contest. Just dump it out on the table and find the keepers lol.. that was too funny
I found Doug’s sterling piece. It’s a base of a sterling salt shaker. Pretty cool. Way to end the day Doug. Might want to go through the rest of your pouch lol
Great hunt. Your George 2nd farthing may actually be a Scottish Charles 2nd Bawbee from 1670’s. Your pewter knee buckle is probably earlier than stated c.1720’s and tinned copper alloy rather than pewter. Andy
Happy Birthday Rich. Charlie takes the lead! What a find! Doug turns trash into treasure. I honestly hope you guys get to swing over every inch of those 30 acres. Something indeed happened there, and I want to see some gold come out of that dirt.
Way to go guys, lots of nice old buttons, buckles and coins. Special congrats to Charlie on that hammered silver … crazy how each person that goes there gets 1
hi from scotland, the coin you found at 10:30 you id'd as a king george 11 hibernia half penny is in actual fact a scottish "bawbee" sixpence of charles 11 dating to 1670 ish. nice find and well done a rare find in america im sure. keep up the good work. cheers alan.
Wicked Incredible!! Congrats Charlie! Great finds all around though, so many beautiful coins and buttons, unique buckles even. Fantastic spot...I'll be right there 🤣
Awesome find Charlie! Charles II is the one who gave Pennsylvania to William Penn, so Billy Penn might have carried that over with him to his new property! Outstanding...
Charlie called me on his way home that day to tell me about his Groat😊. To say he was excited is an understatement. Congratulations my friend, what an awesome save 👏👏👏. Speaking of awesome saves I can’t leave out dump it in the dumpster Dougs sterling silver whatever it was🤷🏻♂️🤷🏻♂️. What a crazy permission, congrats to everyone and another superb show.
I think I would do as much research on that field as I could. Thats an old field.😮 I would grid the entire field, slowly and meticulously! Great dig, I wish Rich would of found a grote or cob for his birthday, but everybody did find something interesting.
Great Hunt guys. Doug I'm happy you found the Sterling Silver Relics. I wonder how many times alot of us throw something out thinking it is trash. I've caught myself a few times doing that.
