  • This is an extensive part of this EVPN-VXLAN series where we will learn how to configure a Spine-Only configuration. There are many steps in deploying any network and with EVPN routing and VXLAN tunneling, the steps involved can be even more technical. This video aims to act as a guide in to configuring Juniper Networks switches to deploy these signalling & tunnelling protocols with a staged approach:
- Configure the underlay
- Configure the overlay
- Deploy the Aggregated Ethernet bundles and ESI's (Ethernet Segment Identifiers)
- Build all the VLANs and map these to a VNI
- Create the Anycast gateway
- Deploy EVPN routing
- Deploy VXLAN tunnelling
- Validate our configuration and E2E connectivity.

You’re very welcome and glad to help. Spine-leaf is coming next and then deeper configurations into MAC-VRFs 👍
