CLARIFICATION ON EMOLUMENTS TO AGNIVEER AJAY KUMAR*
Certain posts on Social Media have brought out that compensation hasn't been paid to the Next of Kin of Agniveer Ajay Kumar who lost his life in the line of duty.
It is emphasised that the Indian Army salutes the supreme sacrifice made by Agniveer Ajay Kumar.
The last rites were carried out with full Military Honours.
Of the total amount due, family of Agniveer Ajay has already been paid Rs 98.39 lakhs.
Ex - Gratia and other benefits amounting to approximately 67 lakhs, as applicable according to the provisions of the Agniveer Scheme, will be paid on Final Account Settlement shortly post due Police verification. The total amount will be Rs 1.65 Cr approximately.
It is re-emphasised that emoluments due to a fallen hero are paid expeditiously to the Next of Kin of departed soldiers, including Agniveers.

Vishnu ji..if u recall the crash on ranjit sagar dam in which my son, an attack helicopter pilot lost his life. you had highlighted the plight of my family, u even had interviewed my elder son. In this crash, my son though alive aftet the crash but since injured in the limbs could not not execute swimming and died of drowning! His autopsy report has said this. Even without knowing the findings of autopsy report, i had raised the issue of army pilots not being provided with basic life saving gears, underwater survival training. My son wud hv bn living today had he been provided a life jacket. My letters since then to rajnath, president of india, defence secy and CDS anil chauhan have failed to evoke an acknowledgement, forget a reply.. this is the state of army affairs, soldiers' safety in this country!

Agniveer scheme benefits were explained to the people before joining and hope they joined after accepting those conditions. Compensation is there ,but pensions only for a full time soldier.
Only insurance money is paid but the government has not paid any gratuity money.

Releasing the money and the person concerned receiving in his bank account are different...Releasing is the file processing.... Not the actual release..
When the money reaches the claimant's bank account, then only one can claim that the person concerned received the money, or else no....
First you should know that the money which was received in his bank account is the insurance where the premium is paid by the government not from his salary (it is only applicable to agniveer not other soldiers)

The government should release the proof of payment made. Why can’t they come clean on allegations? Doesn’t the government take a receipt of some sort saying the funds have been made.
The question is whether this is a one off case where compensation is delayed or whether there is no allocation for agniveer if they are killed in action. I think Rahul’s problem is the second. Where he should have referred to the manual of army than asking a particular family. It’s absurd to level statements like this with just one case. He is not doing his research and is simply being stupid.

A better approach to Agniveer: Perform recruitment based on two policies: 1. old and 2. new agniveer but keep limit on pax i.e.(say for example 25000 for old and 75000 for new policy). Give choice to candidate under which scheme they want to get recruited. In this case no need to retain 25% of agniveers. This will be handled by old policy.

Has this video cleared the confusion? The answer is No. Since the LoP and D.M. have given contradictory statements in the parliament, it is necessary to let the public know who is right and who is wrong. And whoever has made an incorrect statement should apologize.
It is very unlikely that the father of the killed agniveer would say lie about the compensation. He does not benefit in any way by misleading the nation.
It is not at all difficult to prove whether the compensation has been paid or not. If the money is paid, I guess it must be through a bank transfer. As everybody knows when an amount is transferred to an account, the concerned bank informs the account holder about it. Should one assume that in this case, this normal procedure did not take place?
Why did the Defense Ministry issue an informal statement? If the compensation has been paid why they can’t make a formal statement with relevant details? Then cross-verification can be made with the concerned family. This simple process will reveal the truth.
Can we rule out the possibility that the information given to the minister was wrong? It can happen, not necessarily deliberately. It is necessary to confirm that the LoP and D.M. are talking about the same agniveer and the amount is transferred to the correct account.

Ukraine War has completely changed modern warfare to no-contact or low contact warfare. Loitering munition, armed drones, swarm drones, UAVs & GPS system to guide artillery fire, missile, anti-missile systems & mechanized infantry for rapid & secure occupation of territory has added new dimensions. Probability of protracted war has highlighted importance of domestic manufacture & of keeping large inventory.
There is need for more high tech weapons. GPS guided armed drones are replacing manned aircraft bombings. Soon robots & AI will enter to fight the war. Moreover, concept of joint tri-service Theater Command calls for same personnel handling inventory meant for common use of three services. Agniveer scheme is consistent with modern warfare.
Modern hardware needs to be rapidly inducted by India for the changed war scenario. More over retaining 25% of Agniveers in regular service, shifting others to paramilitary forces & armed police and rest discharged with Rs 20-25 lakh compensation to find suitable jobs is right approach.
China is now inducting engineering students in its armed forces & Chinese military is based on stipend getting conscription services for soldiers.
China has now also formed a Cyber Space Command and the major powers of the world are creating such commands where IT engineers are required.
Rahul Gandhi told two lies in the Parliament regarding Agniveer: First, he mentioned the word Shaheed.. He does not have the basic knowledge that the word Shaheed is not used in the Indian Armed forces, instead "to give Supreme Sacrifice (Veergati)" is used. The second lie was about giving compensation to Agniveer after his Supreme Sacrifice. It is the misfortune of the country that the level of opposition leader has fallen so low in modern India, in the era of Google when correct information is available in a second.
How long this government can survive on lies after lies . This a a too late tactics of BJP and Modi to save their face from Rahul Ji's statement.

Chronology - RaGa claims no compensation paid to Shaheed agniveer. Agniveer Ajay Singh's family debunked RaGa claim and states on video that they have received 90+Lakhs of funds. Congressis then say that compensation was granted after the claim was made by RaGa.
So the point of debate has shifted from "why thr agniveers arent being compensated" to "were they compensated before or after the Parliament debate" 😂
