Wolf, Sedgar, Vyland, Roshea. They are called the Wolfguard. Interestingly, Vyland is a free unit you get as a login bonus (you get 2 copies), and Sedgar is another free unit you can get out of Grand Hero Battles, as a reference to how you fight them all (save for Roshea) in the same map you kill Hardin.
it's not actually the same map, it's the one before Hardin's or in FE3's case, 2 maps before.
Also it seems that with this localization, their called the coyotes men
RIP Dice, but I’m actually excited to get Vyland. I might make him my first attempted FEH build (being free also helps lol)
While watching this banner trailer I came up with the perfect idea for the next Special Heroes Banner (and I have frankly no idea why):
It's a Three Houses Banner, but all four units are Ignatz in different Costumes, including the Duo Hero, which is just two Ignatzes (Pre- and Post time skip) in a team.
And to make things even better, all their kits are hot garbage.
Can you imagine the carnage that would ensue from a trailer like this.

i know this banner is super underwhelming for most people but Roshea has been my most wanted character in FEH for a while now, honestly never thought i'd see the day he'd get added and i'm ecstatic.
also it's kinda crazy that he just so happens to be drawn by the same person who did Zihark, my favourite character of all time so safe to say i'm pretty biased towards this artist now.

Honestly the Florets are better after rereading the addendums in the notice board you can only get one of these per banner plus its sparkable so its not gambling since you can guarantee it and I imagine they'll get added to the celestial stone shop as well. like with dragon flowers just use these on your favorites and you'll have a fine time

Yeah. So it isn't as pay to win as one would think. Granted you'll need to still summon a lot if they're in the celestial shop and be lucky enough to get an Ascendant Hero. Thankfully these new heroes are in the main pool. So they can accidentally pity break you on future banners without noticing.
What I will note (as many others have pointed out) is that only the first Fjorm you summon gives you a Floret, no matter how many Fjorms you pull or where you summon her from (i.e. if you don't summon her now but get pitybroken by her on a future banner, you'll get one Floret) - honestly I think this is a pretty sensible way of distributing them compared to what they could have done, since it means that whales can't get more Florets than everyone else.
FE7 is still recent in terms of its last new heroes banner. The previous one with Pent was April this year

I've put Sedgar on my CYL poll once for 2-3 years, so I'm pretty hyped I get him for free. Malice is cool, but I don't know if I'd spark for just her
I hope the Forging Bonds swaps out Malice for Sedgar, cause it'll be super weird having three members of the Wolfguard and Malice, when all four of them come out together.
I'm sad that they didn't :(
This banner is really sleeper I think. But congrats to the people who wanted them! I’ll be super excited when Miriel finally gets in.
On the plus side, it's only 1 ascendant floret per Ascended Hero released, not each one you summon. So as long as everyone keeps 135 orbs in reserve for each Ascended banner, and sparks the ascended character, then basically every player is guaranteed the same amount of florets. Further Whales won't dominate others too badly.
You also need to read the rules for how they work on the message board. Oh boy, do they have some fine print...

WOLFGUARD!!!!!! Finally characters i care about but don't have orbs to pull xD xD. Not my top picks from New Mistery, except for Malice, but that's nice and refreshing (not a 3H banner, amém!!!!!).
The floret thing is disgusting honestly, old characters need a stat boost but so far they did in the worst way possible, this only add another tool to units that don't need stats boost to gain more stats.....
Important about Ascendet Mechanic is, that you only get a Floret ONCE per Ascendet Unit and you cant use more then one per Unit. You can't just pull 10 Fjorms and get 10 Florets. It is very easy to miss in the trailer but it is written in small text in the first explanation screen. In my oppinion this makes it pretty balanced, because they are hard to come by and you can't just whale yourself an entire team with Floret boost.
Actually, you can only apply an Overasset once on a basic unit.
@@cosmicstarlightex4787 they never said that it was possible to do that though? They only said that it you can’t just immediately apply it to a whole team if you get a bunch of ascendant fjorms.
That does make it better, but I still don't like it because I have too many favorite characters. This is essentially the "6 star" ascension they are adding, and now it feels like all of my passion projects that I've "completed" are now incomplete unless I dump 120+ orbs into these banners
The Ascendant Floret is very interesting based off the addendums. Only one per character - so if you get multiple ascendant Fjorms, you only get one from the first one you get and none after.
Also pronouncing coyote like cayote is a Midwest accent thing. I'm an ohioan

I absolutely despise this floret mechanic being introduced. F2P who just save orbs for skills or characters they like are gonna have a way harder time doing well in game modes with max investment builds
I think the only people pronouncing coyote without the E at the end, are people not from NA who don't know how weird our language pronunciation gets.

Vyland is won from quests, and Sedgar is the GHB. Roshea as the 4* makes sense because he's the only one who joins in both games.
I could be wrong but I didn't see anything saying ascended fjorm won't be added to the regular pool and for that reason im okay with the florets thing because its not gonna be another situation like duo Ephraim where they're on a banner or two then disappear for good. You have a chance to get one at any time
you only get one ice cabbage per ascended hero, even if you summon them multiple times, so its just something to use on your favs
It's not as bad as it looks at present. if you read the fine print you only get one of them and only the first time you summon one. So at present at most everyone will only have access to 2 of them.

Ascended Fjorm looks very strong, and her inheritable B skill is disgusting because it's the only way for armors to get defensive NFU.
Not a big fan of Ascendant Floret either. Yet another scummy item from IS to keep their fanbase gatcha-dependant. It's very little incentivising.
At least you can't get multiple Florets by summoning multiple Fjorms. It's only one per Ascendent Hero in general. So if you want more Florets, you need to summon different Ascendent Heroes. Ah, and they don't affect BST and scoring in Arena modes.
I'm extremely excited for Malice, FE12 is in my top 3 favorite FE games :)

I guess so! My 16+ units that I've deemed "max invested" are now gated until 15 more Ascended Heroes come out, and that makes me sad
@@SpeedyHawk yeah so far, we can only get 1 per ascended hero, so it's not really going to make an impact on the game itself. It'll just make your favorite slightly better. We'll see how IS decides to divvy out extra florets.
Definitely going for Ascended Fjorm on this banner, not too interested in the other units.
As for now, I find the florets pretty yuck, but it might chance if there is another way to get them as a reward or something, rather than summoning specific units that you may or may not care for.
Also I find it hilarious that we don't get regular hardin on a banner that seem dedicated to him. Maybe he will appear in a year or two with Nyna.
I've "jokingly" wanted Sedgar the most out of all shadow dragon characters, since he carried my run, and I'm so glad that he is a GHB so that I won't be tempted to spend orbs on him
It's not as bad since you can just save up and spark for the unit to get the one from that unit. I assume since the Celestial stone shop renews in 2 weeks that there might be 1 put in there. Plus even if you don't summon for them they are remaining in the normal summoning pool (or at least Fjorm is) so you can just pull them naturally too.
why did they not include cavalier Hardin but they include 2 generic cavs that had no personality and no one used them? (vyland and sedgar). It would be like if they included those 2 bald identical armoured knights that i forgot the names of
Because it's a wolfgaurd banner, and sedgar is one of the most used member of the team, him and wolf can solo the game once reclassed as generals
FE 7 banner is too early. I guess the last two new heroes banner this year should be Awakening and PoR/RD more likely RD.
Easy skip banner but excited for Ascended Laegjarn.

@@rakurai4953 Last Sacred Stones banner was december 2020. Granted it's been a while but not as long as the other mentioned ones and it was Book V at that time already.
Path of Radiance was September 2020 and Awakening June 2020. Radiant Dawn was even longer and got their last banner on Book III.
It's up to IS on the end but I think Sacred Stones can wait until early 2022.
I agree with you. I feel that the new Florets are just a way to get people to spend on the gacha and to further generate the FOMO.
"Oh, did you really max out your hero? Don't you want your favorite to be competitive? Just give them the florets"

I have very mixed feelings on the Florets. It's cool to be able to power up some units a bit more where they need it, but the way they're doing it feels like a huge cashgrab, and it does nothing to even the playing field for weak units.
Either way: Wolf is husbando, I want him.

The fact that they are so limited is fine I guess and you can always just randomly pull Fjorm in the future and get an additional IV. Idk its not overly broken but it is pretty shitty. It benefits speedy units way more than tanky for sure, like my Ninja Laevatein only needs atk really the bulk is whatever. Meanwhile Duo Lif and B Eirika just got another shot of powerup with this.
it'll help alot of older units actually, like ALOT. especially ones that dont have resplendents such as old seasonals

Honestly, besides having great fodder and providing the flower, knowing Fjorm's voice actor is the same person who did Colette's voice makes it very difficult to hold back for me, but I'll see, I don't like or care about the other units in the banner
I honestly think it's ok since only your first Fjorm will give you the floret so its limited for everyone, as of now. Who knows if theyll sell it in the shop or the celestial stone one at some point.

The florets will only be gained per ascendant hero so this is by far the rarest resource in feh. Multiple copies of Fjorms does not mean multiple florets.
Not gonna spend orbs for this, base Archanea is also not a favorite of mine character-wise. I don't know who I'll use my free pulls for yet: I like Malice's design and she seemed like a cool character, but then her support with the avatar became too avatar-sexual; Wolf seems cool combat-wise; and of course Fjorm just looks op. Don't know if I'll spend my orbs elsewhere or if I might just finally start to save up for my dream of either Kieran or a Lon'qu alt.
