Thailand 2013 ; I escaped Patong Beach to explore as many temples as I could get to , including this BigBuddha worksite ... and YEEHAA the Thais did it ! They've built their BigBuddha , bless em , whatta wonderful country , which deserves all of our RESPECT , and may the Thais grow to the heights of this aspiration of BigBuddha , to even more wonderful things. Thailand is an amazing land , amazing people , pleasant language , good cheap beers and cigarettes , temples incredible , so much more , and it was an honour to have been a guest there b peace n goodwill from Sydney.
Nice. I was there in January and could have kicked myself for not taking my drones with me. I assumed they would never allow it there but there was another guy there with a Manic on that day and he also had no trouble getting permission to fly.
