How do you stop the frost getting to the beet in the pile in the yard we only lifted a weeks supplie at a time to stop frost wastage
Never had problem in yard yet. Straw bales on the edges and we are taking of the front everyday. Thanks for watching!

Here in Norfolk they ''used to'' (don't see it much these days) put sheep on the sugar beet tops before the beet was lifted.
