This was the last season for Buffy on the network (sadly Nick Brendon was the only Buffy cast member to show up during the filming of the promo, David Boreanaz had spun off to his own show ("Angel") a season earlier).

@Mahone Yeah, but that was mostly a clip (stock footage) from the Buffy episode "Who Are You?" included on there mostly for her (she is shown briefly at the beginning of the full-length promo).

Who's singing this song? Sounds like a female signer which is different from the version done by The Four Seasons.
Her name is Vitamin C! She had a few hits in the early 2000s.
